• Preparing Project list according to target deadlines with respect to design stages such as Concept design, Scheme design, Detail design considering the interruptions from other Completed and On-going Projects.
• Preparing list of deliverables based on approved Contract document.
• Managing design team to march towards to achieve project target.
• Maintaining Quality assurance and Controlling the same prior to delivery
• Random coordination will be carried out after coordinated by assigned Coordinator to control the quality level of drawings and documents.
• Thorough study will be carried out on Soil Investigation Report, Survey Report & Architectural Setting out, etc., for Soil nature, Existing Ground level, Finished Floor level (Interlocking level), etc. to check recommended & provided Foundation depth, Final ground level.
• Preparing Design Basis Report / reviewing the report submitted by Structural designer.
• Preparing draft/ Checking Structural Layouts and Structural Analysis & Designs to meet BS & UBC requirements.
• Designing / Checking Foundations (Pad, Combined & Raft Foundations and Piles with Pile caps), Columns (Braced and Unbraced) & Slabs (Flat and Solid).
• Preparing draft/ Checking Detail drawings of Foundations, Columns, Beams and Slabs etc. to meet Authority (Dubai and Sharjah Municipality, etc., ) regulations and BS & UBC requirements.
• Checking Structural Drawings Co-ordination with Architectural & MEP-Services Drawings (Taking more care on Underground Services especially for Substations).
• Reviewing and Commenting the BOQ prepared by QS team.
• Reviewing Contract Agreement, Work Schedule and Monitoring with Resident Engineer (RE) for the Construction progress & Quality of work with respect to established work schedule mile stones & Civil work Specification respectively.
• Reviewing and Commenting or Approving Shop Drawings, Material submittals and Method statements submitted by Main Contractor/Subcontractor during Construction.
• Attending Site Co-ordination Technical meetings.
• Monitoring at site with RE / Project Engineer for Site Quality Control and Safety activities adopted by Contractor.
