• Project Description : Contract No. RA/214 - Design, Build, Completion and Maintain Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Causeway Project “Doha Link”. Including Entertainment City Interchange, Doha Peninsular Road 1.78km, Doha Interchange Bridge, Approach Bridge West 5.22 km, Main Bridge 0.600 km, Approach Bridge East 1.90 km - Total length 12.4 km and Support Facility 3 Buildings - (Owner PART. Main Contractor - GS Engineering & Construction Corp.) Construction Cost 165.708 Millon KD. (13th Feb 2016 to date.)
Duties & Responsibilities for Projects.
• Responsible for recording and computing quantities and costs evaluation of site work instructions
• Advise the Resident Engineer on contractual and cost related matters.
• Maintain complete quantity surveying records of all elements of site construction.
• Prepare monthly cost control reports and produce reports on cost variations from budgets.
• Review and make recommendations on contractor’s progress payment applications.
• Review and make recommendations regarding the contractor’s claims.
• Review and make recommendations on the contractor’s Final Payment Application.
