Network Security Consultant

Administration and maintenance of Palo Alto Firewalls and McAfee proxy, Up gradation and troubleshooting.
Analysis of Network traffic flow and troubleshooting with live logs.
VPN services includes Site-to-Site & Remote VPN.
Perform immediate troubleshooting as the situation dictates for all network outages as reported by users.
Raising tac case through Azure portal for Cloud infra related issues.
Implement change requests raised by client using Service Now change management process.
Implement Major changes during the approved time zone and strict adherence to the change management guidelines and procedures.
Incident Management and Change Management with MSIS Support as per ITIL standards.
Working on ticketing system to address customers Network/Security related issues using Service now
Produce method of procedures (SOPs) that demonstrate understanding of changes proposed and how the change will be executed with minimal service impact.
Execute change management activities within customer change windows.
Device/Firmware Upgrade: Responsible for device/OS upgrade of various network security devices.
Providing global technical support to customer onsite.

Job Responsibilities
Deploy and maintain access list and firewall policies for high throughput environment.
•Administration and maintenance of Palo Alto, Checkpoint, ASA, Fortinet and Juniper Firewalls. upgradation and troubleshooting of devices.
•Administration and maintenance Zscaler internet access cloud proxy, implementing and troubleshooting Zscaler tunnels and Zscaler Application.
•Incident analysis related to different web application attacks.
•Analysis of Network traffic flow and troubleshooting with live logs. (Wireshark, TCP dumps).
•Providing complete design and deployment and network security support for VPN services includes Site-to-Site & Remote Access VPNs.
•Perform immediate troubleshooting as the situation dictates for any and all network outages as reported by users.
•Implementing CRs of projects/clients.
•Incident Management and Change Management with MSIS Support as per ITIL standards.
•Working on ticketing system to address customers Network/Security related issues using ITSM.
•Produce method of procedures (SOPs) that demonstrate understanding of changes proposed and how the change will be executed with minimal service impact.
•Link Migration / ISP migration activities: Responsible for device/OS upgrade of various network security devices including Firewall, IPS, Email gateway etc.
•Device/Firmware Upgrade: Responsible for device/OS upgrade of various network security devices.
•Health check/Audit: Performed security audits with full reporting delivered to customer based on application, system, security device, and logs

Responsible for troubleshooting and timely resolution of faults/issues in IP network supporting OSPF & BGP.
•Installation and configuring new deployments like routers, switch, and Infrastructure trunks.
•Routing related tasks included providing cisco router configuration and change management, providing technical support for Cisco Router configurations and installation for Customer.
•Manages escalations and ensures the Site is left in a stable state at the end of the change.
•Provide coordination for the WAN Transformation and LAN Transition on site activities.
•Configuration of IPsec site to site VPN and implementation of NAT.
•Implement network changes during the approved time zone and strict adherence to the change management guidelines and procedures.
•Ensure accurate maintenance of Network inventory, record and configuration management for all Network devices.
•Generate regular report on the activities, network performance to highlight the exceptions and fix.
•Basic configuration on ASA, ACL rules, NAT and configuring ASDM access.
•Configured IPsec VPN tunnel, troubleshoot a site-to-site.
•Administration and maintenance of Palo Alto Firewall.
•Develop and maintain operations process for Infrastructure deployment and maintenance.
•Managing CISCO ASA firewall for internet and responsible for configuring for access policies/NAT Rules.
•Configuring ASA firewall in Active/Standby state.
•Configuration changes on routers and switches as and when required as per design.
•Handling routing, switching and security issues for all the customer sites.
•Configuring and troubleshooting Access Control List (ACL).
•Execute change management activities within customer change windows.
•Adhere to configuration management, change management, release management as per ITIL framework.
•Providing global technical support to customer onsite.
•Troubleshooting of all network and system related problems.
•Opening tickets to track and document resolution of problems.
•Configured basic access-policies and NAT policies.
•Responsible for managing & troubleshooting of network ensuring maximum network uptime.
•Preparing daily shift handover, network checklist, and syslog.
