As a safety officer, a was responsible for safe work progress of construction site as per company HSE Plan. Responsible for Supervision of Health, Safety and Environment activities at
Construction site and involving of constant
monitoring of safety needs, analysis of safety hazards and suggesting timely corrective action/
pre cautionary measures to be taken at site to achieve safe work progress and to maintain as far
as practically low risk involvement in construction activity, monitoring and suggesting necessary improvements in the procedures
to suit to the job specific requirements, ensuring issue of job specific safety PPE and gadgets to
personnel working at construction sites and its usage, conducting HSE meeting on regular basis
involving client’s and construction agencies senior personnel and Safety Engineers discussing
about the safety needs and implementation of corrective actions required to be taken at site
to avoid accidents, reporting of accidents if any, investigation of an accidents and circulate
the route cause widely. Auditing of HSE activities at site and its compliance and inspection,
suggesting/monitoring of safety needs to meet the requirements of hot works.
Implementation of the approved safety procedure / plan for the project. Preparing the hazards identification plan for the project. Conducting safety orientation programs. Conducting HSE induction course. Conducting other job related trainings. Conducting Safety Tool Box meeting. Conducting H2S and confined space entry training. Organizing pre-construction kick off meeting. Preparing Risk Assessments and method statements for critical and high risk activities. Conducting internal training for waste management and work permit system. Inspection of rigging and lifting tool and monitoring for safe rigging operation. Giving basic training to employees on fire fighting. Inspection and maintenance of fire fighting appliances. Excavation Safety. Safe operation of hand and power tools. Safe material handling / chemicals storage and transportation. Conducting camp inspections. Training for safety while working at height, erecting and dismantling scaffolding. Electrical safety and plant equipments safety. Heavy erection jobs. Gas test and Hot work safety. Hot taping and tie inns.

Develops, implements, and manages the Companys Safety Prosidure.
• Conducts regular safety audits including the inspection of facilities, worksites, equipment, work practices, and safety devices to ensure compliance with required workplace safety standards, regulations, and Company policy;
• Reports findings to department and recommends changes to establish safe work conditions.
• Coordinates, plans, and implements the actions and recommendations for any safety rules/regulations.
• Provides technical assistance and advice on safety rules implementations.
• Evaluates and determines of changing safety regulations.
• Meets regularly with HRD Manager to ensure appropriate action is taken in compliance with Company safety policies to correct hazardous conditions.
• Develops and provides individual counseling on safety topics such as: personal protective equipment, lifting/back safety, accident preventions techniques, and accident reporting; coordinates the keeping of records of safety training;
• Other duties as assigned.
