Centralizing the development efforts reporting directly to the CIO. I was appointed to lead this challenge to achieve the following objectives:
• Define and develop strategic and operational plans to enable the achievement of Technology Services objectives and support the achievement of business objectives.
• Plan, lead, and supervise all activities related to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of all the bank’s applications.
• Re-structure and plan the development work to use of one consistent approach for development with predictable and cost effective development arrangement. (Semi-outsourcing model)
• Review and analyze existing application effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
• Ensure the effective implementation of department plans through leadership of the department staff - setting objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff - in order to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards
Major achievement till date:
•Successful T24 core banking system upgrade to R8 (latest version - more than 14000 test case were simulated, 62 interfaces developed/enhanced and more than USD 12 mln spent)
•Replacing the core ATM switches from ON/2 and B24 to Postilion to meet EMV (Eroupay, master card and Visa) requirement. (remaining phases in progress need to be developed to have instance issuance and SADAD MOI)
• Re-engineering most profitability process (Loan origination) and introducing NewGen BPM (business process management) platform to implement the process and to be integrate with other bank systems. (In the pipeline around 95 process need to be implemented)
• Delivering 26 projects (each project less than USD 1 mln budget) to production like, Sharpoint 2010, Aramco ePayroll through SWIFT, SIMAH National data pooling, Ariba B2B ..etc.

After successful projects delivery in SHB, I was appointed to leading and streamlining the application support with 1st and 2nd line support including the processes, resources and reducing the operation cost.
Major achievement:
• Increase SHB system availability and stability to 98%
• Reduce of the Application operation cost by 35%
• Lead and Manage 45 staff in different location with different skills
• Distribute the rules and the responsibility to the team to provide significant business satisfaction and support project team.
• Smooth deployment to production as production owner.
• Close all SAMA, CMA and the internal Audit findings

• Lead B2B project with SABIC and ARAMCO.
