Manage project budgets, tracking and optimizing spending's to meet the financial targets.
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure continuity of supplies.
Implement process improvements to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
Set work objectives, directs, reviews all projects tenders prior to order.
Conduct evaluation of proposals, and bids in accordance with internal policies.
Assure suppliers deliver materials & services in accordance with pricing time, quality and quantities agreed. Assure all supplier invoices are audited.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and company policies in procurement activities.
Ensure all records are maintained and procurements are documented from origination through completion. Follow up with the supplier payments with the finance and also buy more time from suppliers if necessary. Managed Inventory of materials prior to order placement.
Review MR based on the requirements of the production units.
Collect samples of raw materials for testing prior to approval from the concerned departments.
Collect samples of any packaging materials prior to approvals for proof reading and approval from R&D Dept. Negotiate on the Cost, Quality and Payment terms for maximum credit limit & duration.
Insure shipments for C&F orders.
Prepare necessary documents for the customs clearance.
Follow up on the material arrival or delivery. Follow up with the accounts team for the Supplier payments.
Follow and prepare all documentations as per ISO standards.
Prepare MR based on the requirements of the manufacturing units.
Compare Quotations or Proforma Invoices on: Product ranges, delivery time, Pricing and Payment terms. Negotiate with the vendor to get the lowest possible pricing.
Prepare comparison statements from different vendors for approval from the accounts.
Prepare and issue Local Purchase orders to the approved vendors. Follow up with the material delivery or collection.
Inspect and receive materials upon arrival for any damages or changes in quantities.
Receive invoices and forward to accounts for payments.
Visit vendor showrooms to inspect the materials and collect samples if required.
Study the Request for Quote (RFQ) and work with the team to determine the availability and the pricing.
Prepare the quotation and Negotiate on the price and the product quality.
Learn the market and the product; also keep updated about the market pricing.
Contact local suppliers and collect price lists so as to quote the better pricing for the client.
Ensure materials are purchased from the local suppliers and delivered to the client on time.
