• Monitors corrective and preventive maintenance activities to ensure sustainable HT/LT Distribution Network.
• Ensure preparation, screening and approval of schemes with base working of each plan by coordinating with clusters.
• Make sure to maintain SAIFI, SAIDI and Fault rectification on time as per defined standards.
• Monitor timely execution of different projects/schemes as per set standards and improve productivity by effective supervision and rationalized use of resources across the region.
• Ensure that all maintenance tasks are being done as per OEM recommendations, site conditions and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide engineering expertise in RCA, troubleshooting and resolution of persistent problems. Avoid reworks and give recommendations for improvement.
• Monitoring Contractors include evaluation of Contractors deployed resources and utilization of their resources effectively across the region.
• Ensure monitoring of requisite inventory items at all-times and in parallel ensure issuance and crediting of material returned as per SOP.
• Implementation of Contingency plan during summer peaks and Rain Emergency.
• Ensure that all maintenance tasks and procedures are updated as per SOPs, site conditions and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• To prepare specific technical studies, test sheets, presentations, and reports for higher management.

Major Responsibilities are mentioned below:

1- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:
Scheduling of technical staff and ensure smoot operation by 24/7
Planning, organizing and providing system engineering support and supervision for the operation, maintenance, modification, troubleshooting and repair of the 11kv/415V power network.
Execute the projects with set standard and regularization.
Survey, Identify, Plan and execute the schemes as per set standards.

2. Protection and Control System
Installation, Testing, Modification of Parameters and Fault Rectification of Switchgears with Fanox/ MiCOM relays including CTs/PTs and Control System.

3- Quality & Network Analysis:
Responsible to implement ISO 9001 QMS to develop Quality Culture within Organization.
Performing Technical Quality audits for all power network activities of APM, SIPs, NC and other schemes as per set standards and improve productivity by effective supervision and rationalized use of resources.
Analytical Dashboards for Monthly/Quarterly/YTD performance about Projects achievement, SAIFI, SAIDI, Tickets, Outages and other Technical KPIs.

4- AMR Progress and Rectification (GSM Based Meter):
Monitor the Communication and performance of installed meter and analyzed data transmitted by AMR GSM meters to identify and resolve issues promptly.

 Monitors network health, guides network analysis team on identification of loopholes/ hotspots and carries out resource and material planning, shut down management and execution planning for resolution of identified faults.
 Develops mechanism for maintaining all relevant data records and statistics available for reporting and analysis.
 Shares technical departmental performance with cluster head through periodic presentations as per requirements.
 Feeder and PMT wise commercial and Technical Analysis
 Analytical Dashboards for Monthly/Quarterly/YTD performance about Projects achievement, SAIFI, SAIDI, Tickets, Outages, Nepra Frequency & Duration, etc.

• Manage the staff, assigning them tasks and reported to the Head of the Engineering Department.
• Executes work order through CMMS (SAP) and co-ordinates with planning engineer for job completion and technical matters.
• Installation, Commissioning and automation of Instrument.
• To prepare purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables ensuring budgetary constraints and arrange strategic spares availability to cope up with the maintenance requirements.
• Responsible of preventing and maintaining, repairing electrical and mechanical systems.
• Responsible to accomplish the erection and commissioning of Projects (KEDA Polishing Machine and BetterTech Stove Heating Coal Project Installation) within the targeted date.
• Planned the scheduled maintenance, execute it and maintain records as well.
• Identify work requiring a unit shut down and take advantage of such forced shutdowns to complete as much work as possible with a view of reducing future down time.
• Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, and tests.
• Coordinate efforts with consultants and other workers involved in installing and maintaining equipment or components.
• Calibration of instruments affecting quality of product i.e. Servo Motors, PID Controllers, Temperature Controllers, Pressure Transmitters, Meter Counters, Actuator, Control valves, Hydraulic Pneumatic Motorize & Proportional Valves, Thermal Sensors, Mechanical and Optical Sensors, Gas Flow meters, etc.
• Implement and monitor the goals, programs, records and projects.
• Study and modify the control which can improve the plant efficiency.
• Responsible to fulfill all the requirements to ensure the corrective and preventive maintenance as well as its effective utilization.
• Monitor the performance of the equipment or machines and resolve any related problems and meet the quality standards
• Maintain, Troubleshoot and modify PLC program if require.

• Responsible of preventing and maintaining, repairing electrical and mechanical systems.
• Follow the scheduled maintenance planned, execute it and maintain records as well.
• Follow preset operational schedules to fulfill the panned availabilty production targets safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate all activities or changes in plant status with operations manager.
• Monitor the overall status of the plant and summarize activities in the log book. Fill daily plant status reports and relay all activities that occurred during the shift.
• Calibration of instruments affecting quality of product i.e. Servo Motors, PID Controllers, Temperature Controllers, Pressure Transmitters, Speed Meters, Meter Counters, Actuator, Control valves, Thermal Sensors, Mechanical and Optical Sensors, etc.
• Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test equipment and software, and applying knowledge of the functional operation of electronic units and systems.
• Take quick corrective action on spot decision during emergency to remove the abnormalities or faults.
• Fault detection, modification and parameterization related to drives (OMRON, Siemens, Puma, Sinus, Mitsubishi, etc.), instrumentation & Control, Temperature Controllers and Flow Meters.
• Working on different types of Thermocouples, RTDs and other temperature sensing devices.
• Working with different VFDs, Electronics Devices, Programmers, Load cells, Dryers, Burners, etc…
• Work with Electrical Schematic Drawings.
• Done other duties regarding to Electrical / Electronics Engineer post
