1. Translate documents other material from one language to another.
2. Read material rewrite material in specified language or languages, following established rules
pertaining to factors, like word meanings, sentence structure, grammar, punctuation and mechanics. 3. Follow ethical codes that protect the confidentiality of information.
4. Proofread, edit and revise translated materials.
5. Check translations of technical terms and terminology to make sure they are accurate remain
consistent throughout translation revisions. 6. Read written materials, legal documents for visa processing and rewrite material into specified languages.
