Responsible for the day to day IT requirements of the company such as user management, trouble-shooting, help and advise. Maintaining desktop applications, local area networks, IT security and telecommunications. Oversees the work of IT staff to ensure that all jobs completed on time, within budget, and to employees specification
-Installing and configuring software, hardware and networks
-Ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running
-Manage network servers and technology tools
-Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewall
-Create and verify backups of data
-Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes
-Read or listen to client problems and collect necessary information to identify and solve technical issues
-Remotely or in person conduct set-up, administration, configuration, or troubleshooting of problems
-Monitor and follow policies on backups, network, and storage capacity, and change management
-Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes
-Configuring, adding, and deleting file systems
-Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment
-Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks
-Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
-selecting and purchasing appropriate hardware and software
-Establish and maintain relationships with equipment suppliers &support Company
-configure the default e-mail address for new user accounts
-Handling the overall Exchange infrastructure environment, server upgrades and performance monitoring/optimization
