- Develop work plans for Food Security (FS) and Cash Based Intervention (CBI) activities in line with project proposals and takes decision to see the implementation of the plans.
- Manage the allocated budget for FS and CBI activities.
- Oversee the effective management of records, files, folders, and supportive documents of all implemented activities.
- Coordinate and supervise FS and CBI activities, in line with established work plans.
- Ensuring synergy with other STL programs in the area of operation.
- Day to day supervision and support of team members under his/her supervision; overseas general management of team.
-Ensure the recruitment of team members, and their orientation and mentoring as necessary and in line with STL policy.
- Ensure that a sound monitoring and evaluation plan is in place and followed up for all activities.
- Ensure that reporting guidelines, policy and procedures of STL and donors are taken into consideration.
- Establish contact and maintain communication with FS and CBI related project stakeholders in Şanlıurfa Region, as delegated by the Field Coordinator.
- Represent STL with stakeholders such as public authorities, local governments, INGOs, national NGOs, and others in Şanlıurfa Region, as delegated by the Field Coordinator.
- Carry out needs assessments in the field for the design of new project proposals.
- Ensure that relevant information flow takes place from projects to STL Communication and Fundraising department for improving external communication, PR, and fundraising.
Translate the website and all related materials
- Lead the team of skills development and Food Security programme in an efficient manner.
- Develop/support the development of training materials based related to project activities, as appropriate.
- Act for Project Manager in the absence of PM and fulfill the work.
- Ensure the implementation of skill building activities and Food Security activities in line with preparatory work and project planning, including follow-up of administration, finance, logistics, and communication.
- Assist Food Security Manager in identifying new intervention areas for protection and emergency program.
- Provide analysis and follow-up of project indicators.
- Ensure that all project staff promote and maintain confidentiality regarding all beneficiaries and their records.
- Based on reports from the field team, prepare monthly and quarterly progress reports to the attention of Food Security Manager, both narrative and financial, indicating project status with planned versus actual achievements including photo documentation.
- Ensure synergy with other Support to Life programs in the area of operation.
- Contribute to the development of Food Security and Skill building program project components.
- Undertake the collation, analysis, and monthly reporting of project related statistics.
- Under the supervision of the Food Security Manager and the Field Coordinator, establish contact and maintain communication with stakeholders relevant to the project, including local government offices, UN agencies and NGOs in Şanlıurfa Region.
- Support the Project Manager in ensuring the smooth operation and coordination of Food Security project activities.
- Support other team initiatives according to project needs, workload and capacity.
- Prepare and write weekly and monthly plans and reports.
- Responsible for communication with the local communities and committees.
- Compile relevant reports and analysis.
- Supervise the field and the team and make sure the process is running in accordance with the guidelines and within the codes of conduct of STL.
- Define those in need and carry out food safety related activities including distribution, evaluation and monitoring.
- Conduct focus group activities and share reports in relevance.
- Prepare Master and Signature Lists.
- Conduct Post Monitoring Distribution activities and update Master Lists in relevance to the timeline and monthly rates.
- Attend meetings and submit minutes.
- Archiving process and records.
- Implementing needs assessments with supervision of Project manager to provide data for new project proposals.
- Emergency response preparedness and action-taking in the field within STL principles.
- Undertake any project related responsibilities requested by the Team Leader.
- Translate (Arabic - English and English - Arabic) if needed.
- Responsible for English Drama Club, English Speaking Clubs & Cambridge Exams Training.
- Teaching Speaking Lessons for Middle School (5th - 6th - and 7th Grades)
