Following are my duties and responsibilities.
- Taxation & E-Fillings:
Monthly withholding income tax compilation and filling of Monthly return on IRIS E-Portal
Tracking changes in relevant taxation for supplies of goods and services (GST & Province wise service tax)
Responsible for sales tax issues including submission of sales tax returns.
Preparing comprehensive working for Input and output sales tax including Purchase & sales registers.
Provision of Sales tax withholding certificates to parties (FBR & SRB).
Annual E-filling of withholding statements to FBR.
Managing Notice /other correspondence from tax authorities including collection and submission of information and documents.
Liaising with tax consultants and other stakeholder to ensure compliance of tax laws and any changes.
Compliance with tax requirement pertaining to book keeping and retention of records.
Incorporating changes in tax laws in the organization.
Facilitating tax authorities in tax audits.
Filling Appeals/Claims in respect of Taxes.
Other Responsibilities:
To assist in finalization of monthly quarterly & annual financial statements.
To make bank reconciliation of entire group and accounting treatment for appropriate compliance.
Reviewing fiscal Expenditures in accordance with SOPs and defined time lines .
Making SOPs for Different sections of Finance to ensure timely task are achieved in smooth manner.
Maintaining complete records of Mortgage facilities obtained from Banks.
Looking after monthly Mudaraba & Muharka payment.
Interpret Financial Information and predict future trends.
Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities.
Correspondences with appropriate contacts i.e. Auditors, Solicitors, Bankers and Statutory organizations.

Plan, direct, review, authorize & certify fiscal activities in accordance with Accounting Principle and standards.
Ensure Compliance with all legal and reporting requirements.
