Style feasibility study by considering Tooling direction, Draft requirement, Curvature Analysis
Continuity, Merging distance, Gap & flush requirement and creating reports for it.
2) To insure that there is no undercut, no clash with surrounding part, no deviation in style
surface.
3) Understand and follow the work instruction and work descriptions given by the customer.
4) Making 2D & 3D proposals by considering the input and bench marking data.
5) Finalizing general section definition & fixation strategy as per DFA & DFM
6) Responsible for maintaining CAD quality of Plastic parts and avoiding plastic defects.
7) Responsible for cost reduction by avoiding or minimum use of Lifters & Sliders.
8) Responsible for finalizing Parting Line.
9) Responsible for assembly feasibility.
10) Responsible for maintaining Quality documents like 2D-3D checklist, Work order tracking
sheet, Input & Output tracking sheet and maintaining day to day activity of project work.
11) Insuring tooling feasibility, Clash analysis, Cad quality, Gap & Flush requirements of all parts
before delivering to customer.
Product Development of Automotive Interior parts like,
1) Pillar Trims - A-Pillar, Demist Vent, Air Duct of Demist Vent.
2) Instrument Panels - Binnacle Cover, Duct
3) Door Trims - Armrest, Grab Handle, Lever Bowl, Map Pocket.
4) Center Console - Chillar Bin, Duct, Hard Armrest, Top Finisher, Closeout Panel
* Experience on Product Development of Automotive Exterior parts like,
1) Front Bumper
2) Side Moulding
3) Radiator Grille
4) Under Grille
5) Door Garnish
