Identify needs, contribute to projects design and project development process and to proposal writing and budgeting.
Contribute to deliberations on strategy and the positioning of the FSL Department at Action Against Hunger.
Ensure projects objectives and progress activities defined by the donors and in accordance with ACF policy and recommendations are taken into account.
Contribute to the quality, accountability and impact measurements.
Participation in coordination, donor visits, meetings, and representation of Action Against Hunger (internally and externally)
Set up, supervise and follow up on FSL project implement (mainly Cash for Work and Cash transfers programs)
Direct communication and interaction with local community including: private entities (enterprises), Community Based Organization and youth centers to ensure the engagement in the project’s activities
FSL projects reporting (internal “ Monthly Activity Progress Report and external to the donors)
Direct supervision, support and management of the FSL team.
Coordinate and liaise with all ACF Departments to meet the project and the team needs/ support are delivered on time.
Ensure the high quality of projects’ deliverables with respect to ACF logistic, HR and finance procedures and processes.
Ensure project monitoring approaches ( program field visits, MEAL monitoring visits and monitoring tools, external audit)
Collect data through key informant interviews (KIIs) and focus group discussions (FGDs) with partners, beneficiaries and stakeholders
Support data entry of the collected information (qualitative and quantitative data), maintain and update the database.
Analyze the collected data, producing draft reports, tables and graphs.
Preparing workshops and trainings materials
Concept note and proposal writing
Data collection and need assessment surveys
Conducting environmental-related training through practical activities
Ensure supervision, support and follow up on the project objectives and targets
Prepare and modify the plan of activities according to the expected progress of the project
Ensure the quality standard of work progress in line with the work plan
Manage, support, motivate and provide guidance to the project team
Ensure the implementation and progress of the activities defined by program manager and donors.
Support in the compilation and treatment of data with the M&E Department, alongside with following up on the PDM report drafting
Sustain internal and external coordination and presentation.
Manage the operational budget and control project expenditure
Activities reporting - internal and external-.
Arrange for project events along with set and distribute tasks and roles among the team.
Assign staff and volunteers and conduct induction and appraisals
Control and revise all procedure documents and forms used by different Departments
Develop council quality manual and controls
Train and follow up with other Departments ensuring the overall process
Control and supervise the internal audit
Support the auditors during the external annual audit
Working closely with the senior management to ensure that council policy and objectives are against the requirements of ISO international standards
Assist in developing, implementing and measuring project progress
Work closely with the project manager on developing the project KPI's, detailed work plan, and work breakdown structure.
Prepare and modify the action plan according to the expected progress of the project
Help in developing stakeholder list in the regard of the project scope and conduct discussion meetings with them
Manage the operational budget and deliverables, and contact suppliers
Conduct site visit, data collection and surveys
Provide guidance and support to the civil community through site visits, meetings and follow ups.
Prepare monthly reports to the senior management
Prepare and organize trainings and roundtable dialogues
Coordinate with project parties/ ministries, institutions and experts in the field of waste management
Represent the project in public speaking, meetings and events
Delivering lessons learned sessions in waste-management-community-based projects to local NGOs and national centers
Conduct small-scale researches on renewable energies (Collecting and compiling data)
Assist in developing proposals, researches and presentations
Projects coordination and meetings preparations
Administrative and logistic tasks
Help in Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) company's activities
Present and attend conferences, exhibitions and meetings with regard to environmental technology
Customer service and administrative assistant.
Branch-accountant (i.e. Invoices, stock system software/inventory, receipt vouchers, cheques, social security regulations, preparing for the regular external control visits).
Contact suppliers and follow up on office furnishings and equipments maintenance.
Filing system.
Assist in plan’s drawings using AutoCAD(2009) (i.e. Landscaping)
