Identifies and manages asset reliability risks to Power distribution network or business operations and provides specialist technical advice to the Maintenance and Operation Divisions on statistical analysis for increasing reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, controls and safety systems.
Developing & monitoring KPIs on a monthly, quarterly & yearly basis for distribution network and reporting the system performance such as SAIDI, SAIFI and CML to higher management in the divisional meeting.
Conducting 360° analysis for each failures & preparing RCA reports for all failures & providing short & long term recommendation to different departments.
Responsible for analysis of load current, fault current & electrical asset life cycle study and providing necessary recommendation network control section to enhance the reliability of DEWA network.
Developing Reliability centered maintenance & Risk based maintenance techniques to optimize the equipment and reducing plant’s equipment downtime.
Developing Asset Disposal procedure to dispose or recover assets to realize value and minimize the cost and risks associated with non-operational assets.
Monitor the electrical preventive and corrective maintenance and overhauling work activities to ensure safe and efficient application of procedures and implementation of optimal electrical maintenance.
• An adroit leader with over 5.5 years’ experience in Operation & Maintenance of 220 KV Switchyard, High power Rectifiers for Potline current control &Power Transformer, HT/LT Motors, EOT Cranes.
• Leveraged with skills in handling Power Transformers, Distribution Transformers, HT & LT Switch Gears, PLC Programming, Utility Electrical Maintenance and Testing
• Proficiency in managing maintenance of various equipment for reducing downtime & enhancing operational effectiveness of the overall plant
• Extensive experience in executing site enabling activities like erection of equipment, safety requirements at site, arrangement for commissioning including preparation of commissioning checklists
• An effective communicator with excellent analytical, problem solving and people management skills
