• I am currently working on Trent 700RF Low level testing, with CTT scripting based on Ada language.
• Design software using UML for FADEC sub-systems which are used in engines for Airbus A350 XWB and Gulfstream G650. Worked on software development and testing for Rolls-Royce’s Trent900 electronic engine controller. The application software is written in C to run on a 32-bit environment.
• Developing and Testing code against software design and software requirements for aero engine FADECs (DO178-B Level A) are met. The code tested is for Airbus A380. This involves reading schematics to determine pin connections between several devices. The schematics are read in the context of the information provided in the interface control documents.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of software practices within the business and be involved in technical audits on various projects (on behalf of Software Quality Assurance team)
• Play a key role in improving software verification to ensure a consistent output which complies with customer’s verification standards.
• Communicate effectively when presenting technical presentations for technical audits carried out by the customer and aero-engine certification bodies such as EASA.
• Working on more than one project at the same by managing time effectively and prioritising tasks.
• Produce high quality work within budget and time-scales set by project manager
