• Teaching IGCSE English as a Second Language, I have within 3 years of joining the school, been able to advance students’ performance in the Cambridge IGCSE examinations from the hitherto 72% to an average of 83% A* - C grades.
• In the 2022 IGCSE English as a Second Language, I was able to advance the students’ performance from the 83% A*- C grades to an average of 90% A*- A grades and one of the students scored 100% in the Oct/Nov diet.
• Teaching IGCSE Literature in English, two years after I joined the school, my students (the first set) achieved 72% A - C grades in the Cambridge IGCSE.
• As the Class Teacher of Year 8, I was able to impact positively on their behaviour. Consequently, they developed self-discipline which resulted in their excellent academic performance in the Checkpoint examinations.
