I am a mid-senior level Accountant working with Samsung C&T Corporation UAE one of the major South Korea based Construction Company.
Currently, working in UAE Barakah Nuclear Power Plant Project as accounting associate.
During my period in Samsung C&T Dubai branch office, I had been actively engaged in VAT Implementation project of Samsung C&T UAE and other several joint ventures operating in the region.I had also been appointed to provide training and awareness of newly implemented VAT legislation to project sites staffs. I had effectively provided the solutions for complex VAT transactions occurring between joint venture partners, clients and within the company as well. I have also had an opportunity to work on Kuwait withholding tax where I had constantly engaged with and assisted external tax consultants to successfully obtain tax retention amount from client for the completed projects.
During this period, I posses a strong knowledge of VAT compliance and planning and have demonstrated an ability to apply these skills throughout the industry.
I have also pursued the GCC VAT compliance diploma exam supported by ATT UK and PwC ME Academy and passed successfully.
Furthermore, I am also pursuing Masters of Business Administration in Finance Major from Liverpool John Moores University - UK through distant learning program
Currently Pursuing MBA in Finance from Liverpool John Moores University thru distance learning program
Successfully completed GCC VAT Compliance Diploma suppoerted by PWC Academy UAE
