I worked as a salesman in the Indian Pavilion for the big mega event that happened in the United Arab
Emirates in 2021 which was the EXPO 2020 originally scheduled for 2020 but postponed to 2021 due to the
COVID‑19 pandemic. The event aimed to bring together countries from all across the globe, showcasing
innovations, culture, and achievements on a grand scale. The Indian Pavilion was a representation of
India's culture, technology, trade and innovation. As a salesman, my role was crucial in promoting and
representing India's offering to the diverse audience attending EXPO 2020. As I was in charge of
comprehending the goods, services, and innovations on display at the Indian pavilion, I also learned a lot
about the products and sales throughout my time working as a salesperson there. Acquiring
comprehensive understanding of Indian Entreprises, industries, and culture which was necessary in order
to convey these elements to prospective customers and guests. As a salesman in the pavilion, one of my
main responsibilities was interacting with the patrons and prospective customers. Initiating discussions,
responding to inquiries, and offering details about the goods or services on display which were showcased
in the pavilion. Additionally, building a constructive and educational rapport with guests was necessary in
my job to make a good impression and spark curiosity among visitors about India's diverse culture and
landscape. EXPO 2020 served as a platform for cultural exchange and diplomacy. As a salesman, i played a
pivotal role in representing India's culture, values and traditions to a global audience. This aspect of the job
involved not only selling products but also fostering positive relationships and promoting a favorable
image of India.
