Working in NextAge Technologies Pvt. Ltd since April 2007 till date in capacity of as a “ Network Administrator”. My basic responsibilities are to manage the whole network including computers, maintenance, Server Backup & handling multiple Domains’ & purchasing all the computer’s & network’s accessories etc.
Managing the systems of 45+ IT Professionals & handling more than 12 Systems computer Lab in NextAge College.
Designed & implemented the whole network setup of about 60 nodes, installing & configuring MS Windows 2003 & 2008 Server with Windows XP, Windows 7 client windows, Vista workstations and Kasper Sky Antivirus.
Installed & configured ISA Server 2004 and 2006 successfully for Internet sharing on client’s internet sharing. Using Integrated Mode (Both Firewall and Cache)
Installed & configured DNS server & (Active Directory) for creating new User’s & Group’s & assigning them Group Policies on Domain Controller, and preparing a new LAN using DNS server or DHCP server.
Supporting & Monitoring the NOC Operation regarding VPN’s, Bandwidth & Network Performances Issue.
Coordination’s with ISP’s & bureaus offices about their links.
Hardware/Software Inventory Management
Configuration, Monitoring & trouble shooting of switches, Security Camera’s and UPS.
I worked at Hajvery University, Lahore as Network Administrator since December 2005 to March 2007. I was responsible to manage and maintain all Hajvery University Computer Labs. The Computer Labs of Hajvery University were comprises on 125 Computer, and computers were grouped using Star Topology with Microsoft Operating Systems (i.e. MS. Professional Windows 2000 on clients & MS windows 2000 Server). My major responsibilities were to maintain, monitor and manage the LAN (Local Area Network) and to provide internet access on all computers. Beside this to make availability of software & languages on all computers and troubleshoot the computer network.Coordination’s with ISP’s bureaus offices about their links.
