Mid-sized Saudi trading company (50-200 employees) specializing in importing and wholesale/retail distribution of travel bags, travel accessories, and seating products for consumption (prayer, picnic, beach chairs), with international origin from China.
• Manages annual expenditure on purchasing over SAR10M on both travel bags and seating product lines with a portfolio of 100+/ suppliers in action.
• Conceived and structured new contracts and pricing to achieve 8-10% cost savings, driving straight to improved bottom line as well as company margins, without impacting quality or supplier performance.
• Shorter average delivery times (15-20 days) by building proactive lead time capability, effective supplier follow-up planning, and providing better integration with the warehouse teams and logistics.
