ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Successfully developed a highly active Calcium Oxide catalyst from an organic waste precursor.
- Verified the activity of the formed catalyst by converting 92% Waste Cooking Oil to Biodiesel.
- Characterized the catalyst using BET, XRF and Hammett indicator tests.
-Performed ASTM standard tests to verify the commercial viability of the catalyst and biodiesel
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
-Planned, designed and completed the entire research work within a time limit of 1 month.
-Optimized the research parameters using Response Surface Methodology to ensure product quality and cost reduction of the process by about 10%.
-Meticulously carried out inventory management.
-Characterized the products using FTIR, SEM, GC - MS and HPLC analyses.
