Handling a team of 15 Language Experts for Google India’s ambitious Localization programme, ensuring
On Time Delivery and keeping a check on the quality standards; being a team player and effective
communicator to the standards considered best by one of the world’s leading tech companies; learning
international best practices to organize work; while being a mentor to the team that has a varied agegroup.
Association with Omnicom group has also introduced me to the growing digital media space.
During the 5 years I have spent in PTI, I have reported and edited stories on political and human interest
issues besides features. I have earned three promotions, of which two have been double promotions and I
was serving as the organisation’s youngest Principal Copy Editor. I have reported and edited stories
which have been picked up by nearly a dozen newspapers, many of them on their front page. In my
capacity as a shift in-charge for over 3 years, I was an independently transmitting hand managing a
team
● Summer training in The Hindu MetroPlus, New Delhi and earned about a dozen bylines in a month’s time
(2010)
● Worked on the Layout and Design of two tabloids of the class called ‘Insight’ and ‘YouThink’ (2009-11)
● Prepared a number of television and radio news packages as well as photo stories on topics
surrounding CWG, introduction of BRMS course, World Book Fair, RTI, Tibetan settlement at Bylakuppe
(Karnataka) and many others under veterans like Pablo Bartholomew, Magdalena Herrera etc
