• Direct loss prevention audit programs including target store audits, maintenance audits, safety audits, or electronic article surveillance (EAS) audits.
• Coordinate theft and fraud investigations involving career criminals or organized group activities.
• Perform or direct inventory investigations in response to shrink results outside of acceptable ranges
• Provide recommendations and solutions in crisis situations such as workplace violence, protests, and demonstrations.
• Recommend improvements in loss prevention programs, staffing, scheduling, or training and hire loss prevention staff.
• Analyze retail data to identify current or emerging trends in theft or fraud.
• Monitor compliance to operational, safety, or inventory control procedures, including physical security standards
• Identify potential for loss and develop strategies to eliminate it.
• Visit stores to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Managing Overall Loss Prevention Function for All Sports Retail Stores in Qatar.
Scheduling and Execution of Inventory Audits and Shrink Reconciliation as well as Post Audit Shrink Analysis/ Review to Identify Root Cause.
• Monitoring security management, asset protection, fire & loss prevention, investigation of shrinkage of inventory, pilferage, theft, breaches or system and protocol
• Managing crisis & emergency situation and developing loss prevention methodology/ mechanism & business contingency plan
• Understanding business need and designing a roadmap for further development
• Guiding the development of strategic security plans, policies, procedures and controls
• Expanding existing client relationships, integrating service delivery with other subordinate practices as client requirements dictate entailing business continuity, security management, training
• Observing a team in action and then suggesting ways to improve their processes in order to reach their set goals
• Recognizing different types of team motivation, developing mediation skills, and "win-win" approach to conflict
• Minimising finincial losses to the business related to thefts, vandalisms and accidents
• Ensure safety and security standuards are up, all system in place and functioning effectively
• Conduct security, safety and operation excellence auidts to ensure compliance to set procedeures and standards
• Analyze various reports and audit results, review trends by highlighting risk/ losses and prepare action plan for better control
• Conduct shrinkage/ overage reviews for the outlets exceeding budgeted limit, identify root causes and plan way forward
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and service providers to deal with operational issues and maintenance contracts
• Conduct training to educate associates on defined policies & procedures, regulations, law enforcements and compliance
• Initiate investigations when identify non-compliance to company’s policy and set procedures, finalize action in coordination with ethics and HR department
• Assist in development of business continuity plan to limit risk for business during any disaster
• Work with discretion and professionalism, maintain confidentiality always
• Managing the P&L within allocated budget to attain a profitable performance in the entire area
• Supporting the customer service activities & building the staff competencies to optimize and sustain sales performance & customer satisfaction levels
• Ensuring that store adhere to compliance requirements in areas like operational activities and company policies & procedures
• Contributing in the formulation of the retail strategies & implementing projects and trials in the concerned areas
• Coordinating with Buying and Merchandising Teams regarding the supply of stock with the aim to maximize its potential
• Monitoring mark up & down, material in & outs, inter-store transactions, GRN, RGP, NRGP, Shrinkage, Damages and other day-to-day activities
• Creating & presenting analytical reports to the Top Management with the aim to support them in predicting the overall organizational growth levels
• Ensuring best Customer Service to make the store a preferred shopping destination
• Managing loyalty program, membership drives at stores and sales of financial products etc.
• Ensuring effective in store communication by following standards of Visual Merchandising.
• Retaining customers by handling customer’s queries and complaints tactfully.
• Association with store operation to help them in managing operational Cost, P & L Management, etc.
