Project scope encompasses the construction of utility and road tunnels buildings, MEP infrastructure, firewater utility systems, storm drainage networks, electrical substations and power distribution systems, ELV systems, and integrated control and monitoring systems. Responsibilities include the following:

Develop, review and update system, process, procedures for interface and stakeholder management. Develop, review and update interface management plan, stakeholder management plan, commissioning management plan, Logistic management plan and other contract deliverables. Develop and update Interface Control Documents (ICDs) across contract packages. Identify the external and internal stakeholders and develop, update and maintain interface register. Engage with key stakeholders affected by project work to understand their needs and concerns, taking measures to maintain effective relationship with the stakeholders. Coordinate and manage logistical interfaces across all phases of the project to ensure efficient collaboration between stakeholders and alignment of site operations. Oversee systems testing, commissioning, and integration activities to ensure seamless systems integration, fulfillment of operational requirements, and achievement of performance standards in alignment with project objectives. Prioritize team’s focus to support regulatory submittals and approvals. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for land use and construction permits. Develop interdependency schedule for exchange of information and construction and agree with respective stakeholders to avoid conflicts. Produce and maintain appropriate, standardized documents and regular reporting to the senior management and other stakeholders reflecting key issues, resolutions, and performance to effectively understand risks and impacts on the project. Ensure a collaborative approach is maintained across the team to facilitate the planning and delivery of interface works, ensuring all issues are clearly understood by the stakeholders and addressed, and appropriate interventions developed and implemented.

Projects include building five 540 MLD capacity pumping stations and construction of 119 Kilometer potable water transmission systems, reservoirs, and tunnels. Transmission line size of DN1800 mm carbon steel pipeline partly directly buried and partly within six (6) tunnels and a utility culvert, with provision for a future DN1800 mm carbon steel pipes. Responsibilities included the following:

Responsible for overall interface management of a region assigned under regional infrastructure ensuring the quality, cost, statutory, safety, environment, and project scheduling requirements. Process Land Use Permit Requests and coordinate with respective stakeholders for approval. Ensure permit applications are timely processed, and stakeholders’ requirements are fulfilled and implemented. Develop and update Interface Control Documents (ICDs) across contract packages. Managing, engaging, reporting to the Area Director on all key internal and external stakeholders and their level of influence. Developed Interface Register from the project preconcept design and coordination with the relevant stakeholders for resolution of the interfaces and further design development. Responsible for preparations of interface plans that are underpinned and aligned with critical path of the region. Responsible to identify the interface, ensure the boundary is clearly identified in the tender document. Ensure interface handovers are clearly identified in the schedule. Develop the interface management protocols for the contractors, develop an understanding of the interface risks and how they should be best allocated and managed. Provide input of the monthly progress reports.

King Salman International Complex for maritime industries and services will be the largest maritime complex in the region once completed. LSTK contract value is more than US$ 5 billion; scope includes engineering, procurement and construction of facilities that include shipbuilding, overhauling and maintenance, offshore rigs fabrication, platforms construction, support buildings and marine facilities. Responsibilities included the following:

Monitor the overall interface management process during design development and construction stage. Review interface management plan, interdependency schedules, interface register, reports and other contract deliverables. Ensuring interface requirements are clearly identified between multiple contractors such as time, space and priority requirements. Undertake the COREWORX Interface Management System (CIMS) observer role to monitor interface management activities. Support EPC contractors to resolve interface issues with government bodies and external stakeholders. Monitoring maintenance of the master interface lists prepared, updated and reported by EPC contractors. Organize video and teleconferences, Interface meetings to ensure interface issues are resolved in a timely manner. Approve changes, determine conflict resolution between interfacing contractors.

LSPB contract valued Saudi Riyals 480 million, scope includes construction of buildings, water treatment facilities, roads, potable and fire water networks, sewer network, lift stations, electrical power distribution, 27 km of fiber optic cable and water wells. Responsibilities included the following:

Develop engineering design for the project and facilitate further development through discussions and negotiations with the relevant stakeholders. Develop, review and submit design, subcontractors, vendors, materials, shop drawings, reports and other contract deliverables. Develop, implement and maintain the designated interface management methods, systems and procedures. Overall management of the interfaces and ensure the resolution of interfaces with internal and external stakeholders. Develop and update interface management plan, interdependency schedules and interface register and other contract deliverables. Managing interface points, action items and interface agreements through COREWORX Interface Management System. Risk identification, evaluation, review and mitigation to minimize/eliminate the project risks related to interfaces. Interface with different contracting parties, owners, customers, government bodies and existing facilities in coordination. Propose and recommend appropriate solutions as necessary to maintain compliance with local authority requirements. Organize video and teleconferences, Interface meetings for engineering and interface issues. Develop interface reporting systems and performance indicators to ensure projects are delivered safely on time, within budget, and in accordance with the agreed project requirements. Ensure contractual requirements are fulfilled and identify potential issues that may result in variation orders. Manage the Change Orders and assist with the project’s close-out documentation. Provide the required to the O&M Contractor for facilities maintenance and operation, discuss and resolve issues with O&M contractor.

LSTK contracts value was Saudi Riyals 1.3 billion, scope included design and construction of school campuses, fire station, inside campuses roads, potable and fire water lines, sewer lines, storm drainage system, irrigation network and electrical power distribution network. Responsibilities included the following:

Responsible for the overall management of the interfaces, ensure the resolution of the interfaces with internal and external stakeholders. Develop and update interface management plan, interdependency schedules, interface register and other contract deliverables. Organize and conduct meetings and workshops to resolve design and interface issues. Ensures existing design and interface information is verified and validated and new interfaces are identified and resolved. Risk identification, evaluation, review and mitigate to minimize/eliminate the project risks. Review drawings from lead contractor/s and design Sub-Contractors. Prepare and review interface responsibilities matrix for stakeholders. Incorporate changes in the design for new interface identification. Coordinate with the governmental agencies and departments for design approvals and work permits. Lead negotiation for interface agreements / assets protection with the stakeholders.

Measured contracts value was Saudi Riyals 800 million, scope included construction of irrigation and potable water tanks, roads, storm drainage system, potable and fire water piping network, sewer network, irrigation network and electrical power distribution. Responsibilities included the following:

Undertake and expedite reviews and approval of design, subcontractors, vendors, materials, shop drawings, reports, and internally produced project documents. Manage the flow of technical documents between project operations, engineering disciplines, and other related support groups. Provide technical guidance to Engineering aides as required. Organize and conduct meetings for status of requisitions or other documents. Evaluation of Contractor performance and his response time for engineering items. Ensure that pre- established requirements are satisfactorily met throughout the duration of the project. Manage data distribution system and schedule for the assigned project based upon client and project requirements and revise system and schedule to ensure timely approvals and distribution. Determine client requirement, collection of necessary data, secures approval from the client and ensure reproduction and assembly in a timely manner. Coordinate with external stakeholders for design approvals. Manage the team of engineers, architects, and draftsmen. Answer information requests/technical queries raised by Contractor.

LSTK contract value was Saudi Riyals 600 million, included design and construction of railway locomotive, wagon maintenance workshops and support buildings. Responsibilities included the following:

Liaison engineering design of the project, review, comments on design/drawings. Coordinate changes to support construction, managing and supervision of as-built record documents. Manage interfaces with internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate between disciplines to avoid technical problems during construction. Review of technical submittals for subcontractors/materials. Provide engineering/technical support to construction/site managers. Conduct meetings to solve technical problems. Manage the team of engineers, architects and draftsmen. Work closely with the project manager for all engineering and technical issues and resource management. Highlight problems and propose solutions to the problems. Coordinate with the client, consultants and subcontractors. Assist the HR department in interview and selection of technical personnel.

O & M contract value was Saudi Riyals 900 million, included operations and maintenance of buildings, roads, treatment plants and underground utilities. Responsibilities included the following:

Review and evaluate the project scope, prepare technical and financial proposals for additional scope. Develop the new scope, program and strategies for the new scope. Work closely with the project manager for all engineering and technical issues, resource management. Conduct meetings with client representatives to solve technical problems. Contract management, compliance and its interpretation. Engineering design and construction supervision of underground utilities, retaining structures and buildings. Verification of sub-contractor’s invoices and
payments. Involved in maintenance of roads, buildings, drainage/sewerage utilities.

LSTK contract value was Saudi Riyals 1 billion, included design and construction of 41 km offshore causeway, Ro-Ro berths and 14 bridges. Responsibilities included the following:

Review/Comments on reinforced concrete structural drawings and develop detailed design. Procurement of project materials, financial assessment, follow- up approvals with the client. Preparation and submission of technical submittals for subcontractors/materials. Preparation of sub-contract documents. Verification of sub-contractor’s invoices and payments. Preparation and verification of design reports for bridge and allied structures. Preparation of method statements for various activities for bridge construction. Preparation and review of lifting design for various structural elements. Design and drafting modifications as per requirement of site. Supervision of as-built and shop drawings.

LSTK contract value was US$ 100 million, including design and construction of buildings. Responsibilities included the following:

Review of tender and contract documents. Structural Analysis and design of multistory buildings, recreational facilities for Waha Oil Company using STAAD. Preparation of bar bending schedules and bill of quantities.

Responsibilities included the following:

Structural analysis and design of multistory residential, commercial and industrial buildings using STAAD Pro and SAFE. Structural analysis and design of underground and overhead water tanks with capacity up to 100, 000 gallons. Involved in managing and supervision of drawings for longitudinal and cross profiles of 115 Km Kandhar-Hirat Road in Afghanistan. Monitoring and supervision of sites. Involved in planning and designing of infrastructure services for Multi-Professional Cooperative Housing Society at Sector A/B-17 Islamabad.

Responsibilities included the following:

Overall management, planning, scheduling, and controlling. Allocation of manpower, material, time, equipment, and financial resources. To execute the project as per design, specification and agreed terms and conditions. Preparation of bar bending schedules. Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Monitoring and supervision of sites.
