Resident Engineer
Currently working in Al Rajhi Bank Network Operation Center under the flag of Detecon Al Saudia Co. as a Resident Engineer.
Major Responsibilities
• I am working in Detecon Al Saudia Company as a communications resident engineer with its client Al Rajhi Bank. I use to be the representative engineer for the Detecon over the whole Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the coordinator engineer for Al Rajhi Bank.
• My responsibilities are to analyze, fix and handle any technical or business tickets in our projects as well as coordinate with the vendors, customers, field staff, contractors and between all departments to deliver our services to the customer with the highest performance and quality.
• I am charged with the responsibilities to analyze the business issues and make the solutions for them to keep our relationship with customer and make it grow.
• I am watching the all ATMs under the VSAT technology and solve the technical issues remotely by using the Gasper Voltage software and managing the site engineers for setting and solve the technical issues onsite
• I am responsible to arrange all the necessities to install new VSAT terminal, to renovate any site and to migrate any site from other service provider to Detecon.
• I am sitting in Al Rajhi NOC and my responsibilities are also to monitor all the VSAT terminals on Statseeker monitoring tool and to take obligatory actions for the maintenance of the sites and to minimize the outages.
• I am also preparing daily, weekly & monthly of every incident & activity regarding the VSAT terminals & forwarding it to the concerned officials of Al-Rajhi Bank & Detecon.
Implement the secure data network for different customers (Banks, offshore rigs, etc)
Implement IPSEC over GRE tunnel to secure the traffic for Bank ATM Networks
Implement QoS for prioritizing the traffic for customer traffic
Implementing Routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and Redistribution of routing protocols and VRF/MPLS
Redistribution between routing protocols
Implement HSRP for WAN links for redundancy
Implemented NAT-PAT for customer Internet access
Implement Configure VSAT equipments for Pt-Pt, star network (SCPC, DVB-RCS) for Internet, VPN or VoIP access
Configure VPN networks based on VSAT solution
Management and monitoring of VSAT networks
Support customers and troubleshooting problems
Implement and Manage the iDirect Hub and remote sites
Configure ISP connections to NOC
Create costumer networks and services
Monitoring and analysis the iDirect and customer IP networks
Experience in configuring and implement WhatsUp Gold edition for monitoring and analysis the customer networks and devices.
Experience in working with Network operations handling the customer calls and react upon.
Experience in Managing Trouble Ticket Database

Three months Internship from Detecon Al Saudia Co. Ltd a subsidiary of German Telecom. I covered all the fields of network installation and troubleshooting. I was introduced all the modern ways of testing and commissioning of network topologies. All these activate were performed under proper supervision and guidance
