Exhibits strong leadership and commitment to ensure timely completion of projects within approved budgets and timeline without compromising the quality and safety of the project. Implement correct methodologies along with Site Inspectors.
Coordinates and leads the assigned team of Engineers, contract drawings & bill of quantities (BOQ), design calculations, schematics, prepares specifications; raises Purchase Orders & arranges materials as per the Project procurement plan.
Applies effective risk management and mitigation activities to prevent potential issues that may negatively impact the people, processes, technology, and resources involved in a project.
Lead the design team to complete the final design of Engineering/Material submittals/method statements and verify the accuracy of IFC/shop drawings in compliance to the specification, consultant’s design, and existing local authority standards in coordination with ID, Architectural requirements, and BIM Modelling.
Coordinates people and resources, maintains open communication with all the project stakeholders, and implements all planned activities in accordance with the Project Management Plan, managing stakeholder expectations.
Acquires authority approvals and liaises closely with Regulatory Affairs and other relevant authorities during the various stages of the project execution and takes proactive measures to maintain the quality of works.
Developed and implemented Value Engineering solutions in the design and construction phase in line with scope, time, cost
Ensures that all best practices for project monitoring and controlling processes and activities are properly implemented and on track by measuring performance, determining variances and implementing change management process.
Exceptional working knowledge of modern construction methodologies, Engineering procedures, Design Management and legislation with long-term relationships in the construction industry including Sr. Level Executives, decision-makers, local authorities, clients, suppliers, system integrators, owners, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and end users; rejects quality nonconformance throughout Design and Execution. Assures Product Quality with regular Audits
Performs project sites inspections to check the progress and compliance with design specifications, safety protocols and state sanitation standards, tracks MEP cost at every stage of design development vs. execution vs. productivity.
Maintains contact and close liaison with Clients, Consultants & Contractors to resolve all matters (i.e., drawings, plans, schedules) monitors and controls productivity at site and audited stocks.
