My employment in L&T gave me lots of industry standard knowledge on New Product Development. Firmware design of industrial products. Worked on platform related activities like integrating uCOS, TCPIP Stack to workspace, interfacing SDRAM, QSPI FLASH, USB CDC, RMII Ethernet, etc. Implemented Backplane protocol stack based on CANOpen concepts

This is where I strengthened my foundation in Embedded software development. For 2 years I developed firmware on 8051 using assembly and got great insight into working of micro-controllers. I also switched to Embedded C on ARM cortex M0+ here. Developed Firmware and Designed hardware for Embedded Micro-controller products like Pressure calibrators, Flow calibrators, Temperature controllers, Multi Parameter Stack monitoring kit,

etc.

Since these were precision measurement products, I learnt a great deal on noise filtering, sigma delta ADCs,

op-amp circuits, etc.

Most projects were NPD and few were life cycle support and maintenance.

If technicians were unable to find the defect in products coming in for repair, I would help them out and this gave me a

very good knowledge of hardware debugging.

Also did some PCB Designing in Altium, Diptrace.
