My Job Roles:
1. Project Planning and Design:
• Develop project plans, specifications, and cost estimates for construction projects.
• Prepare engineering designs using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
2. Construction Management:
• Supervise construction activities to ensure they are carried out according to design specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor progress and performance of construction projects, identifying and addressing issues that may arise.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
3. Quality Control and Assurance:
• Conduct quality inspections of construction sites to ensure workmanship and materials meet standards.
• Implement quality control measures to minimize defects and rework.
4. Risk Management:
• Identify potential risks and hazards associated with construction projects and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
5. Quantity Estimation
• Understand project specifications, blueprints, technical drawings, or other relevant documents to identify the materials or resources required.
• Use mathematical calculations and/or specialized software tools to estimate the quantities of materials needed based on project specifications, considering factors such as waste, shrinkage, or additional requirements.
• Determine the costs associated with the required quantities of materials.

•Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, or subcontractors to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery schedules for the required materials.
•Maintain accurate records of quantity estimates, cost calculations, vendor quotes, and other relevant information for future reference and reporting purposes.
