MetLife Nepal is the one and only multinational Life insurance company in Nepal with it's headquarter in New York, United States of America. MetLife started it's operation in Nepal in December 5, 2001. MetLife is a life insurance giant selling popular life policies such as Deposit Protection Scheme (DPS), Subhabishya Beema -Ajeewan Aaya (SBAA) and Education Protection Plan (EPP) in Nepal. DPS is a popular savings and protection plan that accumulates wealth with reasonable returns. SBAA is a retirement plan. EPP enables parents to save for the educational and other future needs of their children. Similarly other popular policies of MetLife Nepal include accidental and health policies such as Life Shield and Life Care. Annual premium of MetLife insurance range from Rs 10, 000 and above. Additional financial products of MetLife Nepal are Group Insurance, Credit Care and College & School Education Insurance. Group Insurance consist of GTA (Group Term Insurance Agency) for larger number of salaried staffs, SME (Small Medium Enterprise) for smaller number of salaried staffs and Group Affinity for non-salaried people such as consumers of a particular Corporate/brand house to which individuals formally or informally belong. Credit Care is an insurance of loan borrowers of Financial institution. Finally College and School Education Insurance is about affordable tuition protector Plus and accidental medical protector.

Restaurant Manager (Opening) of a Korean restaurant named Hankook Sarang in Tangal, Kathmandu. My major responsibilities were opening and closing the restaurant, operate and manage the property, hiring of staffs, training of staffs and coordinate between staffs and owner.
About half of my time in Hankook Sarang was spent in preparation for opening the restaurant. During this time my major task was hiring of 5 wait-staffs. Then training these wait-staffs about Korean Cuisine. Similarly my work involved working in the restaurant and it's facility to make it ready for the opening. The other half of my time was involved in opening the restaurant. The opening period of the sales of the restaurant was very high. Average daily sales was about Rs 50, 000 ($500) and average monthly sale was about Rs 15, 00, 000 ($15, 000). I was on a short contract with Hankook Sarang Korean Restaurant.
