 Developing Document control schedule & Procurement Schedule for Electrical & Instrumentation scope of work.
 Studying FEED documents, specification, P&ID, conducting site survey and developing detailed engineering documents.
 Developing Engineering deliverables such as Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, IO list, System IO Schedules, Alarm/Trip & Set point list, Cable schedules, General Block diagram, Loop diagram, JB Interconnection Diagram, & instrument hook up diagram.
 Developing Fire Alarm System documents such as Datasheets, Schematic drawing, Cable schedule & Layouts.
 Providing necessary input to Designer for developing Instrument location layout, cable routing layout after doing necessary site survey.
 Responsible for submission of Engineering deliverables as per Document control schedule.
 Involved in HAZOP study of Port of Fujairah OT2 Phase 2 Top Side Facilities project.
 Preparing detailed procurement schedule containing all E&I materials, list of vendor/supplier for each items and planned dates for RFQ, PO, Manufacturing Clearance & Delivery.
 Developing RFQ’s and sending to different suppliers/vendor and getting the quote as per schedule.
 Reviewing the techno commercial offer, technically clearing the items in coordination with supplier/vendor and negotiating with them for best price, payment terms and delivery.
 Developing Purchase order with necessary terms and condition.
 Reviewing Vendor Submittals and responsible to give final approval and manufacturing clearance. Tight follow up with vendor for the delivery of materials.
 Updating procurement schedule as per actual status of RFQ, PO, Manufacturing clearance and Delivery of Materials.

 Overviewing and executing the loop checking for open / close / complex loops, function test of PSD, and FAG related interlocks.
 Implementing the ICSS networking for the whole project as per the TCP/IP serial communication protocol and ensuring the associated installation including FO patch panels, media convertors, network switches, Modbus connections between the main PLC and third party systems etc. according to the project standards and client requirements.
 Overviewing the site calibration of process variable transmitters, control/shutdown/MOV valves.
 Executing the SAT for PCS, PSD, and FAG by following the project specification documents as well as proper check sheets validated by the design core team.
 Ensuring the function test for the interlocks and notify the change in the function block program in conjunction with Invensys team if required.
 Executing the installation and function test of Instrument air compressor, Nitrogen & Water Injection package and implementing the project specification and design specification.
 Executing the testing and calibration of condition monitoring systems and establishing the communication of vibration transmitters, probes, key phasor, accelerometer, motor winding & bearing temperature elements to the Bentley Nevada system.
 Troubleshooting instruments like transmitters, valves, sensor probes, analyzer systems, PCS, PSD and third party systems.

 Developing Engineering deliverables such as Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, IO list, System IO Schedules, Alarm/Trip & Set point list, Cable schedules, General Block diagram, Loop diagram, JB Interconnection Diagram, & instrument hook up diagram.
 Reviewing Engineering drawings and coordinating with design department for amendments if any.
 Reviewing the techno commercial offer, technically clearing the items in coordination with supplier/vendor.
 Coordination with other disciplines for the interface requirement.
 Reviewing Vendor Submittals and responsible to give final approval and manufacturing clearance.
 Preparation of instrument commissioning procedures, system mark-up of boundary drawings, QEDI -ACS dbase population & verification and check sheet allocation
 Preparation of work packs, developing DAC packages, MC/PC dossiers.

 Review and closely monitor MTO’s requirement during engineering stage, assisting procurement department in material sourcing and secure client approval with the best cost savings.
 Preparation of all necessary work procedures, Method statements, and field engineering drawings based on site surveys together with department head and ensure implementation of same during project execution.
 Preparation of instrument commissioning procedures, system mark-up of boundary drawings.
 Executing the installation and commissioning of EMERSON DELTA V systems for QATAR PETROLEUM COOLING WATER PROJECTS.
 Implementing the DCS networking for the whole project as per the TCP/IP serial communication protocol and ensuring the associated installation including FO patch panels, media convertors, network switches, Modbus connections between DCS and third party systems etc. according to the project standards and client requirements.
 Executing, planning and managing the pre-loop checking and final loop checking of various controls as well as shut down loops and to ensure the performance of the loops as per the designed strategy.
 Overviewing field calibration of process variable transmitters, control valves & MOV’s, configuring MOV Master station, Establishing serial communication of 415V SWGR, UPS, HVAC PLC’s & MOV’s with DCS.
 Executing stand alone commissioning of fire & gas system as per cause effect matrix and final integration of whole fire & gas system.
 Executing the SAT for DCS, and FAG by following the project specification documents as well as proper check sheets validated by the design core team.
 Responsible for DCS system, includes co-ordination with Emerson DCS Engineers for any logic modification, graphics changes, I/O assignment changes etc & executed DCS upgrade, includes online replacement of network switches, upgrading work stations and software upgrade from Delta V 8.4 to 9.3.
 Executing the erection and commissioning of the special type instruments such as Ultrasonic flow transmitter, magnetic type flow transmitter, and Motor operated valves & analyzers such as pH, salinity, chlorine, TOC and dissolved oxygen.
 Punch list clearance, RLM and As-built documentation.
 Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of E&I and HVAC activities of CCW Category II plant, including warranty items and to close the work order.
 Troubleshooting instruments like transmitters, control valves, sensor probes, analyzer systems, DCS, ESD, and third party systems.
 Assigned and approved by QP as coordinator for SAP CMMS system of the project for the implementation of SAP IDB from the subcontractor.
 Supporting certification department in securing the necessary department relevant documents for smooth project handing over.

 Programming of PLCs and communicating them with different Applications as per client’s requirement. The skill sets are: Programming of Allen Bradley SLC 5/03 & Micrologix1200 PLCs, Siemens S7200 PLCs, Modicon Micro PLCs.
 Communication of Allen Bradley, Siemens and Modicon PLCs with Scada Software.
 Good understanding of Protocols and Standards like DDE, MODBUS, RS232 and RS485
 Working Knowledge on Communication drivers like MODBUS, PROFIBUS, ABKF2 and S7200PPI.
 Configuring of ALTIVAR Series A.C Drives.
