• Experienced in SAP ERP
• Manage the procurement activities and all raw materials for “Accessories, hardware, components, packaging items etc.” for different factories “Cables, Transformers, Panel boards, Moulds, MCB, Electrical Accessories & Lamps”
• Handling the complete procurement activities for Non-ferrous materials, such as Copper Busbar, Flexible Copper bars, Insulated flex. Copper bus bars etc.
• Monitoring metals’ prices and reports on daily basis on “www.metalprices.com” to get some information about the prices changes and LME stock movements.
• Handling Consumable and Metal Fabrication items, such as Hardwares, metal sheets (EG coils, EG Sheet, Aluminum sheet, polycarbonate plastic sheet etc.), chemicals & Lock and Hinges etc.
• Manage around US $ 10 Million in annualized procurement spend Strategic supplier sourcing, development, and negotiations collaboration with all business owners to ensure stability, risk mitigation, and financial goals.
• Share with the vendors, the requirements from supply chain regarding the delivery and return of products
• Maintain contracts in line with the company policies and procedures
• Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties.
• Maintain complete updated purchasing records / data and pricing in the system.
• Coordinate with user department and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for project assigned.
• Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time.
• Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.
• Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers (local and foreign)
• Discuss defective or unacceptable new goods or services with users, vendors and others to determine cause of problem and take corrective and preventative action.
• Track open purchase orders and ensure any issues are resolved timely
• Following vendors’ due payments to ensure that they receive it on time.
• Prepare KPIs reports and analyse and summarise the data to the management.
• Developing and managing supplier relationships
