As a Lead Engineer, I am responsible for:
• Designing and implementation of a new data base architecture for various projects. FORT Architecture was redesigned several times, to make it more dynamic so that new tenants can be on- boarded with less code change and less effort.
• Development of Stored Procedures, functions.
• Implemented table level partitioning.
• Developed various ETL SSIS packages in every release of FORT etc. Created a dynamic and configurable ETL for FORT which worked on the concept of execution of dynamic rules based on the workflow defined as per tenant in the database. These work flow will be configurable and can be changed if required.
• Working knowledge of designing and development OLAP cube.
• Performance enhancement of
o SSIS package.
o existing stored procedures
• Optimization of Stored Procedures.
• Performance tuning using SQL profiler, Query Execution plan
• Testing and Code review.
• Writing User Manual and Deployment Script
• Design, development and performance enhancement of customized SSRS Reports. Design and created some SSRS Reports to extract data from the database on hourly and daily basis.
Job Profile:
Writing different kinds of scripts in SQL Server 2000 which serve the requirements from the client (different departments), all of them involving different servers and databases with different criteria. Good command over different tools like Enterprise manager, Query analyzer, Profiler, DTS etc. with excellent client interaction skills.
• Scripts for data pulls based on different conditions and logics.
• Scripts (Cursor, Stored Procedures, and Functions etc.) for typical requests from panel team which are required to be processed frequently.
• Scripts for providing different analytical data related to panelists and surveys, like demographic counts, survey respondents and completes counts, sample compositions counts etc. to sales managers, project managers and projects directors
• Running different data modification scripts on various databases.
Creating DTS packages for certain tasks which are easy to run and maintain.
Writing Stored Procedures
Maintaining the flow of the data in and out the Application
Working for the in-house development team for creating and maintaining the database for applications like.

Also handling an additional responsibility of a Shift Coordinator when required which involve communicating with internal and external clients over phone/email/chat, handling escalations and notify them to the reporting manager and managing the whole Team.
Also acting as a primary liaison between the client departments and the information systems IT department, performed analysis, review and estimation of client requests, prepared and reviewed technical requirements
