Monitor the works to verify compliance with relevant drawings and specifications. Record non-compliance/conformances, accept satisfactory work and raise punch list items.
Implement zero punch list philosophy and ensures that the requirements of project Quality Assurance and Control policy are adhered to the highest level.
Assist the Project Engineer with the review of contractor’s method statements and advice on construction methodology.
Verify that the works are being carried out in accordance with the accepted method statements and ITPs. Report any non-conformance to Project Engineer.
Keep updated on the material specifications for Material Approval Report submittal for the consultant’s and project managements’ approval before purchasing and construction use.
Interact daily with the site engineers on the on-going work activities to monitor the requirements of inspection needed.
Visits ready mix concrete plant to determine the methodologies in preparation of concrete.
Attends concrete compressive strength and other requirements by the contract material testing.
Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, ITP and Method Statements and ensure all tests are carried out as per contract requirements..
