• Leading the QC functions both in Aluminum and Glass division. Also Managing the Site Quality requirements and reporting to General Manager
• Accountable for all QC activities such as incoming quality, in process inspection and Final inspection. Also responsible for site quality systems in terms of technical and documental.
• Well versant with IMS system (ISO, Environmental and OHSAS), initiated IMS
And achieved IMS certification within the time frame given by management.
• Have strong exposure in Glass quality testing and SOP formulation.
• Periodical data analysis for customer complaint, production, sales and Gap analysis on the short fall.
• Have exposure on the Client Audit during the plant approval for the glass supply to project.
• Responsible for Monthly Bulletin publishing on the organization present status
o Heading Quality Department by controlling entire process flow, In coming and
Finished goods quality to meet the customer requirements.
o Frequent visits to supplier to ensure the quality systems in place to meet the quality of incoming product.
o Customer Complaints handling by analyzing through Root Cause Analysis (8 D) & follow-up towards customers with CAPA.
o New Vendor development and Vendor audit.
o Key member in Developments and cost reduction projects.
o Participated in Line balancing activity of production assembly line to maximize the output.
2. Systems:
o Being a QMS certified lead auditor (IRCA approved), Established Quality Management systems ISO 9001:2008.
o Drive PFMEA, SPC and MSA .
o Steering Quality improvements teams..
o Prepare documents like SOP, Work instructions, Quality plan and GMP’s etc.,
o Established Value stream in turn reduced the unwanted motion in line assembly .
o Training periodically on the concepts ISO internal Audit, SPC, FMEA and Waste Reduction (MUDA)
o conducting Internal Quality Audit and Steering MRM
o MIS reports for Monthly quality review on Key metrics of RTY, Cpk and Corrective action on GAP analysis.
POSITION: Officer - Continuous improvement QC
1 Established SPC to improve the process consistency.
2 Implementing 5S, Kaizen and Poke Yoke
3 Periodically giving the training to Engineers and Work force regarding 5S, MUDA principles, SPC and MSA.
4 Continuous Improvement to enhance the production Process, packing, handling and preservation of product.
5 Implemented the project of reducing the Job Change time in production machine through SMED concept.
6 Data analysis through MINITAB software for process improvement.
7 Drove process improvements through PFMEA; Trained and enabled all the team members of manufacturing and quality to use PFMEA perpetually.
8 Driving the ARC performance system equal to TPM.
Education B.E. (Mechanical) from Annamalai University in 2005. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 1995.
