Job role : MEP Projects Manager
Duties:
Review the tender documents and the project program.
Project contract and subcontract agreements review.
Establishing the internal work plan for the project based on the project program.
Closing deals with suppliers: technical discussions of product quality and compliance with specifications, payment terms, expected delivery dates, installation requirements, O&M manuals, and warranties.
Itemized costing, budgeting, and project profit analysis.
Preparing manpower histogram, and cash flow plan and ensure positive cash flow.
Attending weekly progress meeting with client representatives, project management team, consultants, main contractor and subcontractors.
Organizing weekly internal meetings with engineers and related staff, meant for work planning, work progress monitoring and project milestones tracking

Official correspondences with the main contractor, sub-contractors, suppliers and head office.
Monthly progress invoices and variations preparation and follow up with consultant /client up to the approval and collection.
Reviewing engineering calculations.
MEP Shop drawings and material submittal supervision and ensuring that it is in line of project documents requirements, authorities’ regulations and direct approach with consultant to ensure approvals
Materials and long lead items’ orders planning and follow up as per site conditions and program of works.
Follow-up with the local authorities for temporary and permanent approvals.
Ensure the positive cash flow.
Ensuring work execution in very high standards as per project documents, authorities requirements and up to consultant / client satisfaction.
Staff training, guidance and evaluation.
Proposing of alternative specifications to meet client budget.

Value engineering: proposing alternative and energy consumption efficient systems.
Monitors performance of project team for quality and productivity, and takes necessary action for improvement, if needed.
Ensures timely completion of the project within (or better than) budget and hand over the project to client within the stipulated time.
Perform daily inspection and visit the site to assess the daily work progress and solve any works obstacles.
Ensure that the QHSE rules and regulations are followed strictly at site by project team.
Submitting work progress reports in weekly and monthly basis and reporting to the senior managnent.
Ensure that the work is in line with the specifications, procurement, approved shop drawings and
complete the work in the best possible way and rectify all defects and complaints within the defect liability period.
Ensure that the final payment has been paid
