The project focus on the effect of C, and Si vacancies in 3C SiC on the electron phonon coupling constant, using quantum chemistry codes like Abinit and Quantum Espresso, because of the importance of SiC in nuclear industry and other industries as well and the coupling constant is affected by defects, then two temperature model used to study the effect on threshold stopping power and ion track radius.
