RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Preparation of drawings and submission for approval.
• Material submission for approval.
• Attend the FAT (factory acceptance test) of most of the equipment that will be installed on site.
• Installation of 3 Nos. 35/50 MVA, 132/11 kV GE Power Transformers & 4 Nos. 500 MVA, 400/132 kV Siemens Power
Transformers.
• Installation of 400kV Siemens GIS.
• Installation of 7 Bays, 132kV GE GIS & 30 Bays, 132kV Siemens GIS.
• Installation of one 132kV ABB Shunt reactor & 4 Nos 132kV Hyundai Shunt reactor.
• Installation of 11kV ABB Switchgears having 75 Nos. Feeders.
• Responsible for 132 & 11kV Cable laying and terminations at Substations. (Approved by DEWA for 11kV cable installation
& termination).
• Responsible for installation 132KV GIS, Power Transformers, 11KV Switchgear, LT Switchgear, DC System, Equipment.
• Responsible for Tray Layout, HT, LT, Control and Instrumentation cable laying, LT and HT cable jointing and termination,
Control and Instrumentation Cable Panel Wiring, Earthing & Lightning Protection system, Illumination system Erection.
• Responsible for site work execution as per the drawings and client requirement.
• Daily site works manpower allocation and handling site electrical works.
• Coordination with Consultant and Client for site activities.
• Coordination between electrical and civil activity.
• Manpower and Material day to day Management.
• Maintaining Safety and Quality as per client and company QMS regulations.
• Carrying out all activities related to installation of SAS system.
• Carrying out all activities related to installation of telecom system.
• Ensure that the Project E& I equipment such as GIS, Transformer, Control and Protection Panels, Distribution Panel,
HV/MV/LV Cable Pulling, Termination and Testing activities are being installed as per Client standard and Procedure.
• Supervise and conduct the inspection of the Fire Detection System, Fire Alarm System, HVAC Control System, RTU, UPS
and Battery, DCS.
• Supervise the storage area is in accordance to the required standards and specifications.
• Check that latest version of all the documents is used in project.
• Check the locally purchased material fulfills the standards and requirements.

• Installation of cable trays and supports for all cables.
• Laying and termination of LV cables.
• Preparation drawings and documents required for approval by SEWA.
• Monitoring and supervising the work inside the site.
• Study and pricing of all projects.
• Design drawing for all Electrical Distribution System, Shop Drawing.
• Design electrical drafts for the preparation of coordination drawing and as built drawings.
• Carry out of all Implementation activities and handover of electrical projects.
• Conduct a weekly meeting with the contractor and consultant about the projects.
• Maintenance of all electrical faults of electrical wiring.
Assembly Dressing and Installation of LV Switchgear panels.
• Installation of Cables and wires between DB’s and equipments.
• Installation of the equipments ( Lights, Switches, sockets… etc) in the project.
