Monitoring systems on daily basis and ensuring 100% availability of the critical DCS/PLC systems.
Developing AMC service and PMP agreements with OEMs, planning and scheduling AMC visits.
Review and analysis of alarms and events to carry out root cause analysis for Plant upsets.
Obsolescence management- Identification of obsolete systems and develop plan for replacement.
Preparation of DCS/PLC monthly overall reports and rack room inspection reports.
Coordinating with OEMs for reliability issues and develop and implement improvement plans.
Coordinating with Projects for taking over of new facilities.
Installation and commissioning of new DCS/PLC systems as part of Non Plan Capital Budget Upgradation/Replacement projects.
Daily Job scheduling, Resource planning & Development of work procedures using Maximo version 6.2.
Adherence to SHE practices in handling instrumentation activities, Preparation of Job and Activity Breakdown chart and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Report and delivering safety pep talk.
Preparation of Preventive Maintenance Schedules as per PM manual for Critical Instruments for Plant Operation and releasing Monthly PM satisfaction reports.
Planning & Execution of T&I (Turnaround & Inspection) Jobs.
Root cause analysis of plant upsets due to Instrumentation failures.
Review of MOC Schemes, selection of instruments for new provisions, Hazop study and Implementation of MOCs.
