• Manage the design process and design consultants, to oversee and make successful the entire design process from pre- concept design stage through final design and for construction documentation to include the selection of designers.
• Maintains day-to-day the communication and coordination with all consulting disciplines during the design development, construction documentation and construction administration phases of the project.
• Attend client, consultant and construction meetings.
• Prepare the studies and architectural design for in-house projects as per design standards, building codes and local practices.
•I nspect the site before preparing the design.
• Review the design submitted by consultants for large projects.
• Obtain the end-user requirements, data collection and analysis, Affection Plan (as required), No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and approvals of local authorities (as required).
• Prepare TOR (Terms Of Reference) and take approval from end-user.
• Prepare project program (time schedule), preliminary cost estimate.
• Assign and coordinate list of recommended consultants.
• Obtain end-user (client) Approval/Consent.
• Assist in tendering and collecting of offers, technical financial evaluation and awarding letter issuance.
• Raise Reports to the high management weekly for important projects and monthly report for all.
• Select and approve all of the finishes materials.
Job Description & Responsibilities
• Overall supervise and successful completion of the assigned projects.
• Manage and assess the performance of the people in my team.
• Review designs and submit recommendation on the selection of contractors, where applicable.
• Coordinate with the design team on all aspects of the design & construction.
• Implement all appropriate change control procedures.
• Direct responsible for the quality standards.
• Control the project costs.
• Control the project programmes.
• Raise relevant correspondence on assigned projects.
• Prepare and issue project reports as required by G.M.
• Evaluate and recommend payment certificates from contractors and consultants on the assigned projects.
• Issue invoices to clients for assigned projects.
• Assist in the preparation of fee proposals, when appropriate.
• Assist Quantity Surveyor in Interim Valuations.
