1. Leading a group consist of six technicians by coaching then & providing the technical and field skills guidance in executing the job a way that enhances safety .
2. Perform new notification screening and participating in daily & weekly planning and scheduling meetings for estimating manpower and manpower distribution.
3. Preparation of materials, test equipment and tools for correction, Preventive and installation jobs.
4. Participating in new projects for commissioning, punch listing, loop checking and performing function test.
5. Supporting the technician to Identify, analyze, and solve the critical instrument problems that require knowledge of standard operating procedures.
6. Coordinating all instrumentation jobs with operation and ensure that the instruction regarding all works conveyed to the instrument technicians clearly.
7. Identify hazardous & risks to instrument technicians to ensure all safety requirements and procedures regarding the jobs to be follow and finish the job efficiently ad safely.
8. Engaged in writing and reviewing SMPs for instrument jobs.
1-Carries out the corrective and preventive maintenance and repair of various types of instrumentation in the plant which includes the regular monitoring and rectification of defective instrument equipments, calibration, dis-assembly, repair and reassembly of equipment and assisting in the installations and testing of new instrumentation.
2-Identify, analyze, and solve instrumentation issues that require knowledge of standard operating procedures to Maximize the Reliability & Availability of plant equipment.
3-Participated in several new projects in commissioning, punch listing, loop checking and function test.
4-Perform work safely as applicable to company's policies and procedures
5-To provide back-up support to the supervisor in finalizing SAP time ticket confirmations. Prepare the required time reports. Maintain the record of work performed.
The program enables me to understand the design, development, testing and evaluation, selection, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance of pneumatic and electronic controlled systems. Various process simulators, PLCs, and laboratory experiments including courses in electrical measurements and measuring instruments, control system, communication & telemetry, industrial process control, PLC application, computer control of process, been used to achieve these objectives. Professional values gained such as communication, leadership, human relations and similar employability skills, and safe and efficient work practices.
The Instrumentation and Control Technology Program enables me to understand the design, development, testing and evaluation, selection, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance of pneumatic and electronic controlled systems. Various process simulators, PLCs, and laboratory experiments including courses in electronics, microprocessor fundamentals, and computer programming been used to achieve these objectives. Laboratory activities are an integral part of this program. The tools, test equipment's, materials, and processes used in the laboratory are similar to those used in the industry. I became able to use various types of precision test equipment found in many industries for the purpose of analyzing and troubleshooting instrumentation and control loops
