Reporting to The Chief Operating Officer COO - KSA and to The Head of IT International - Group IT, Provide executive leadership as head of IT - KSA. Responsible of IT budgeting, design, planning, implementation and support and representing Group IT for all KSA technology related initiatives, projects, changes and operations. Manage and deliver multiple large scale projects on time and within budget. Leading Information Security efforts and representing the bank with all regulatory bodies in relation to technology and information security.
• Core Banking System Migration: managed KSA Team to migrate from legacy core banking system to a new system to enhance the customer service, increase business productivity and to comply with regulatory instructions.
• New HO Building Preparation: Directd the effort to install a new Data Center, Floors Cabling, Servers, Telephony system, links and Security requirements and relocate all staff and systems to the new HO building.
• DR & BCP Management: Handled DR site preparation and managed BCP practices as per the the group policy.
• Managed the relation with different vendors, consultants and service providers.
• Restructured IT department, changed staff responsibilities and hire new staff to enhance the service, customer satisfaction, quality and time.
• Enforced Groups policies in Security and Change management to reduce risks and operational issues.
• Obtained PCI DSS Certification to comply with SAMA instructions.
• Reviewed the existing setup of all links, systems and servers and make sure critical ones have high availability and/or backup.
Reporting to the CEO, oversee all IT functions, Participated in a new start-up financial company efforts to start the business and operations in short time (6 Months), built the IT team and led them to achieve main objectives, built the department's strategy and plans in accordance with the company's strategy. Transform IT into a strategic business partner. Manage and deliver multiple projects on time and within budget., design and support of all technology.
Main Projects:
* Back End System Implementation: Supervised the project of Selecting, Analyzing and implementing the new Back End system which includes: HR, Payroll, Finance and Accounting, Asset and CSM modules.
* OMS system Implementation: Worked with new Ordering Management System vendor to comply with Tadawul requirements and produced a new world class system which never implemented before to serve the Brokerage activities.
* Systems Integration and B2B: Worked hard with different parties to finalize the integration between the Front and Back End Systems, Back End System and Tadawul system and B2B connection with two different Banks to simplify and automate the process.
* Tadawul Certificate: Collaborated, Coordinated and managed the efforts to get Tadawul Certificate which cover Tadawul Audit, OMS test certificate and Tadawul visit.
* Infrastructure Project Management: Managed the project to build the company infrastructure for HO and branch which include NW, Security systems, Links, Data and Voice connections and Data Center.
* Servers and Storages: Directed the team of two engineers to study, compare, select and Implement required Servers and Storage.
* Team Building: Facilitated the growth of the department and selected the required expertise to manage the IT infrastructure and systems.
* Policy and Procedures: Focused on implementing department's policies and procedures; Collaborated with staff to create professional development plans for each team member.
* Managed a group of 15 Engineers, both NCB and Outsource employees to support 5 main buildings and more than 70 branches with hundreds of servers (2 IT centers) and 1500 users.
* Maintained the relation with customers of different divisions and ensured high quality service within the SLA.
* Worked with different vendors and keep good relation and co-operation to enhance the service and customer support.
• Managed the deployment of many IT projects.
• Supervised the installation of all new ATM machines (400 planned in 2007)
• Reduced the communication cost in Western area by 6% in 3 months.
• Created and changed different processes within On Site Support Section
• Worked with support unit heads to put annual operation activity plan for On Site Support Section.

IPO Preparation: Participated in different IPO's for new companies. Supervised different teams to prepare connections and needed servers and PC's.
Password Policy Management: Managed the project of setting and applying new password policy to all NCB users.
W2k3 and WinXP Migration: Successfully migrated more than 260 servers and 2500+ PC's in all branches around the kingdom.
Centralized Security LOG: Played main role in studying, designing and implementing centralized servers to hold security logs for all windows servers.
Delta Project: Managed the implementation of Delta project to all NCB branches' CSR users.
VSAT Branches: Participated in the migration of NCB low speed branches to work on VSAT, AD and RADIA.
Embarked on a long-term career with the bank and progressed in several positions to merit a Project Management role within the Technical Specialist Group accountable for planning, directing and administering infrastructure systems.
• Withholding cross-functional tasks to manage the deployment and maintenance of high-technology applications in the scope of operations and IT architecture. Coordinating with multiple teams for execution of projects in line with specified budgets and deadlines.
• Developing and managing schedules, identifying risks, defining problem solving and risk mitigation strategies and facilitating conflict resolution through the full project cycle.
Key Projects:
• HRMS: Successfully deployed a Human Resource system with Java Applet and Certification. Minimized workload and cost by using Active Directory (AD) for Group Policy administration.
• AD: Participated in the study to set all standards for realizing AD as the focal point of infrastructure management and central repository of all users.
• Patch Management: Project managed the processes to apply MS products patches. Spearheaded the selection and implementation of "Radia Patch Manager".
• Microsoft Operation Manager (MOM): Planned and maneuvered the deployment of MOM to monitor all windows servers as the prime Microsoft Contact.
• Exchange and AD Disaster Recovery and Failover: Demonstrated experience in planning contingency measures determining the adequate solutions to ensure high availability using: EMC SAN, HP Blade servers and MS windows cluster.
• Software Distribution & Desktop Management: Managed the roll-out of HP OV Radia to manage all windows servers and workstations.
• Led professionals in various assignments such as: Remote Printing System Implementation and Management, BankTrade System Upgrade and represented IUSD in some other projects.
• Completed various system maintenance tasks as AD, Exchange, MOM and Radia Administrator as well as an L3 Support Engineer.
Managed a team of engineers to provide professional quality and timely technical support and service for the Bank’s network environment in the Advanced Technical Support Group.
• Directed a 24* 7 operational model where activities included: day to day support and troubleshooting, monitoring performance and upholding change control management for MS products as a Microsoft Applications Support Member.
• Demonstrated excellent expertise in requirements analysis, developmental test and evaluation, independent verification and validation reviews to plans and supervise new applications implementation.
• Piloted many operations and maintenance provisioning projects as an L2 Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve all branches and users problems in addition to assisting Support and Service Desk engineers.
• Coordinated efforts and followed-up on technology related matters with internal customers and vendors. Established standardized procedures for the roll-out of new applications.
Projects:
• Beam 10 Project: Team leader for the front-end branch management system, one of the most important projects in NCB. Successfully converted branches from the old software and deployed the application with its associated equipment in 265 branches with 270 servers and 2200 workstations across the kingdom.
• Monitored the corporate appliance of Software Distribution & Desktop Management Project Phase I.
• Withheld superior roles as an experienced project leader for the Nemo-Q project and as a Pre-staging group supervisor.
• Participated as a Member of the team to establish design, tests and the implementation of Active Directory.
Conducted various system administration and network engineering technical tasks related to the operation and maintenance of Head Office systems.
Achievements:
• Monitored and maintained hardware, software and networks in a computing platform with 1600 users working alongside 5 professional engineers and rendering end user PC training and help desk support.
• Configured and installed servers, workstations and peripheral equipment; performed first line support service to design and troubleshoot LAN in addition to user applications and basic UNIX problems.
• Masterminded the installation and configuration of data servers and their upgrades, supervised the roll-out of Norton Anti Virus Corporate edition servers and administered Microsoft Exchange and international E-Mail server.
• Planed and supervised the relocation of System Development Department to H.O., coordinated all telecommunications installations, migrations and troubleshooting activities.
• Created and applied simple procedures for users to install small applications and solve common problems. Significantly enhanced processes to prioritize user complaints and decreased service response from 2 days to 5 hours.

• Network Migration: Member of the H.O. team to upgrade the network from 10m/s to 100m/s.
• Windows 2000: Active participant in upgrading all banks servers from UNIX and Windows NT to Windows 2000 platform.
• Active Directory: Key affiliate of the task force that studied the feasibility of changing the network from domain to Active Directory.
• Y2K: Team Leader to initiate an inventory for the replacement and upgrade of incompatible PC's and applications.
