• Supervising the operation of the main contractor to smooth the busy occupation of the palace.
• Coordinating the owners requests with all the parties (Royal Clinics, Royal Guards, Projects
Department, Contractors, PMO, Consultants) to achieve the highest level of quality in accordance
with the Royal standards.
• Initiating, Finalizing, Supervising, and handing over Maintenance Projects for each of: (Woodwork,
Granite floor works, Carpet replacement works, Generators Major Maintenance works, Structure
repair works, Shelving for 5 stores buildings project, Replacing AC Units Project, replacing kitchens
Gas safety system project, Barracks Renovation project, and Swimming Pool Filters Replacement
Project).
• Operating an old IPTV system, completing the project, and handing it over to the main contractor.
• Developing, Supervising, and handing over Rush projects: (Swimming Pool Renovation projects,
Exterior Woodwork, Asphalting, Car Shades, Marble works, Glassworks, and Water Treatments).
• Coordination of Hard, KPI, Safety, and Project meetings with all the parties.

Familiar and complies with the hotels mission and standards in performing maintenance activities.
Maximise maintenance team potential with a balanced focus on operations, guests, employee and owners satisfaction.
Represents the engineering department during the daily HOD morning meetings.
Prioritise, plan, schedule assign and supervise the engineering department staff.
Oversee the maintenance tasks, work orders and special projects ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Respond to guests maintenance needs promptly and ensure guests receive professional, efficient prompt and courteous service to hotel standards.
Maintain the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel including physical. mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc.
Installation & maintenance of all equipment related to HVAC, DG Sets, Water treatment, Fire Safety etc.
Prepare reports as required by the Housekeeping Manager and General Manager.
Attend all Facility Management/Property meetings as required, passing on necessary information to the maintenance team in regular junior staff meetings.
Ensure property, grounds, physical plant and work areas are maintained to standard and that all safety equipment and conditions are to code.
Provide training to staff on supplies, inventory, maintenance and ordering procedures.
Train engineering department staff on correct maintenance procedures and assists in repairs as needed.
Maintain, monitor and test hotels emergency and security systems, features like Fire Alarm, CCTV, baggage scanners etc.
Discuss with GM / Owner / Department heads on maintenance status and inspection reports.
Develop, implement, and direct all emergency programs.
Develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses.
Coordinate with the equipment suppliers for AMC and any outstanding issues.
Responsible for quality service, meeting/exceeding financial goals, short and long term planning and day-to-day operations

Assist Chief Engineer in installation and maintenance of the architectural, mechanical and electrical systems.

Perform routine maintenance to determine damages, repairs and replacements.

Support in developing preventive maintenance and energy conservation programs.

Plan, coordinate and execute renovation projects.

Assist in employee recruiting, training, performance evaluation, termination and promotion activities.

Ensure that building structures and all mechanical and electrical systems are in good and safe conditions.

Ensure that engineering team uses equipment safely and efficiently to avoid accidents.

Mange all expenses within the allotted budget.

Communicate overall condition of engineering systems to Chief Manager on regular basis.

Assist engineering staff to process customer requests promptly and accurately

Recommend cost-effective solutions to maintain building structures and related systems.

Ensure that work area is maintained clean, safe and organized.

Educate team on safety regulations, engineering policies and purchasing procedures and other company standards.

Oversee recycling and waste disposal programs.

Prioritize, plan and assign daily work duties to engineering staffs.

Order and stock the maintenance supplies to avoid any shortages.
