#- Participate in permanent coordination with the financial and technical management regarding setting internal and external procurement budgets, as well as participate in preparing the annual plan and preparing the medical equipment maintenance department plan and discussing it with the technical deputy and the hospital’s administrative body
#- Supervising the process of assessing the needs and requirements of the various departments, divisions and units of different materials and services and making procurement priorities on the basis of that evaluation and discussing them with the administrative body and technical management.
#- Evaluating and selecting local and accredited suppliers for the hospital and working to monitor the performance and quality of medical equipment and devices and the services provided by companies after the sale.
#- Follow-up on the receipt of goods and materials, compliance with purchase orders and auditing, reviewing all records and restrictions of purchases and maintaining them in the files in an organized manner and clear procedures for easy reference when needed.
#- Coordination and cooperation with department managers and heads of departments to solve any problems related to work and suppliers or in cases of industrial malfunctions or those required for repair from the supplier on the basis of after-sales services (warranty) and communication and coordination with suppliers in this regard.
#- Building a solid base for dealing with accredited local suppliers, organizing the relationship with them, continuing to search for and contact the appropriate suppliers, and supervising the preservation and classification of all information related to it.
#- Supervision and participation in setting plans and methods to raise the efficiency of the services provided by the hospital, by raising the efficiency of employees by making qualifying rounds.
#- Monitor stock and balances of spare parts for medical devices and equipment
#- Ensure that records and reports on periodic, preventive and other maintenance are kept and that they are in storage and that the numbers and types stored are shown for control.
#- Negotiations with local suppliers in terms of management (high quality product prices, specifications, discounts, penalty terms, returned goods, delivery mechanism, receipt, training, operation ... etc, and signing contracts with them.
#- Request and compare quotations from suppliers and choose the best, high quality and high specifications.
