Job Title: Project Manager (Civil/Structure & Infrastructure Works)

Role:
 Reporting to Director of Development.
 Responsible for Design and Development of Projects.
 Preparation of Project Proposals, Feasibility Studies, Scope Development, Project Planning, Preparation of Consultant RFPs, Selection of Consultants, Concept Design, Project Design Management from Initiation to Tender through Schematic, Detailed Design and Preparation of Tender Docs, Pre-Qualification of Con-tractors, Tender Process, Tender Evaluation, Award, Shop Drawing Review, Material Selection and Con-struction Support tasks for assigned projects.
 Responsible for a Large Scale multi-phase Mixed Use Development (Hayat Island Infrastructure - Mina Al Arab-RAK), able to conduct and manage various projects within the Development on schedule and budget parameters. Work included interface coordination between various design packages.
 Controlling the Design Development to be within the development parameters set forth in the Feasibility Studies, thus maximizing project profitability.
 Controlling the quality of the project to align the project to the market positioning.
 Prepares detailed Scope of Works for Service Work Orders and long-term Agreements/Contracts. Reviews contractors’ technical proposals, variation orders and claims, and prepares all supporting documents
 Responsible for managing the Construction with consultants, Contractors and proactively resolving any is-sues raised by consultant or Authorities as and when required.
 Manage overall aspect of the project management including strategic project management, while ensuring the completion of all assigned work on time and within agreed budgets.
 Review and manage monthly planning and cash flow reports and project related HSE and quality re-quirements while understanding the scope of work, specifications, and schedule.
 Follow up with different authorities to obtain approval for building permit and BCC.

Role:

 Reported to Sr. Resident Engineer.
 Review Civil/ Structural Shop Drawings, method statements, inspection/test plans, RFI, NCR’s and PCR’s.
 Propose missing Civil/structural details by coordination with Head Office designer.
 Checking, Reviewing As Built Drawings- Civil & Structure.
 Report to Sr. Resident Engineer as required and as directed in specific duties to be defined in accordance with the requirements of the project.
 To be constantly aware of all continuing operations on the site by means of regular site visits, inspections etc. and to keep a personal daily diary of site events.
 Attend Site Technical Coordination Meetings to discuss Contractor(s) Submissions, Shop Drawings and construction related matters.
 Attend Technical Meeting with the Client, Contractor(s), Project Manager Monitor the progress of work against the approved program.
 Liaison with and coordinate with all technical disciplines.
 Assist the Sr. Resident Engineer in the carrying out of the final inspection.
 Responsible for the administration of the Structural items, providing management reporting.
 Ensure contractors perform their work safely, to the required quality standard, schedule and cost.
 Interpret and clarify drawings specifications for site engineers and contractor staff.
 Perform technical reviews of drawings, test data, material samples, Inspection reports, shop drawings to assure compliance with the contract requirements.
