Legrand is the world specialist in products and systems for electrical installations and data networks, offering solutions for use in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Legrand is the global leader in cable management. Legrand has been a well-known player in the Middle East market for many years and offers Legrand Group’s solutions through a variety of brands. I joined the team who was responsible of Cable Management System, Cable Glands and Earthing material and my role as per below:
-Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximizing client potential in designated regions;
- Developing long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements;
- Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
- Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs;
- Calculating client quotations and administering client accounts;
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education;
- Working on after-sales support services and providing technical back up as required;
- Arranging and carrying out product training;
- Analyzing costs and sales;
- Preparing reports for head office and keeping customer records;
- Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects;
- Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs;
- Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts;
- Helping in the design of custom-made products;
- Providing training and producing support material for other members of the sales team.
In general contracting firm, my role was to
- Handling electro-mechanical installation related to water ponds, water features and swimming pools covering different types of pumps and filtration systems.
- Determining client’s requirements and translating them into an actionable plan by a team of workers
- Organizing many tasks into a timeline
- Assuring that all deadlines are being met
- Making sure that all health, safety and legal requirements are being met throughout the
process
- Responding to any client complaints, concerns or requests throughout the project
- Holding regular meetings to ensure that everything is going according to time and budget
restrictions.
On (Cold Rolled Sheet Metal Production Line) as:
- Following the production process (Pickling, Skin-pass, Heat treatment, Painting and slitting lines).
- Training on different CNC machines: Center Lathe M/C, Milling M/C
- Ensure uniform thickness and flatness.
- Run a tensile test on each coil.
- Scheduling & running a daily maintenance task & minimize its time (Cleaning, Lubrication and
Inspection).
- Analyzing breakdowns and abnormalities.
- Monitor process stability and control by using control charts for analysis.
- Evaluate the Reliability of the production lines.
On (Components Machining Line) as:
- Training on different CNC machines: Center Lathe M/C, Milling M/C
- Running a daily maintenance task.
- Components Quality Inspection (Crankshaft, Cylinder, Camshaft, etc.).
On (Engine Assembly Line & Body Assembly Line) as:
- Following the assembly process.
- Run test on final engines.
- Welding Inspection.
