As a tender engineer, worked with the proposal team to prepare tenders for mostly residential
projects, ranging from $10M to $50M, in less than a month.
During my time in IntayaIntes we won $45M residential construction project from one of the main
developers of Turkey.
• Litus Istanbul Altunizade - It consists of 115 independent sections, of which 4 are shops, 13
offices and 98 flats.
As a tender engineer my main responsibilities were:
• Local and International Tender Development: Developing proposals and bids for international
and local tenders for clients such as NSPA, Croatia Government, and local developers.
• Tendering for Subcontractors: Coordinated contractor tender documents, facilitated
clarifications, evaluated subcontractor offers, conducted discussions, and communicated
insights to management.
• Market Research: Found suitable suppliers for international and local tenders, preparing
tender documents, and securing offers.
• Tender Selection and BOQ Creating: Daily tender control and selecting the creating bill of
quantities (BOQ) from architectural plans.
• Pricing Strategies: Worked on pricing strategies, conducting unit price analysis to ensure the
competitiveness of bids.
• Plan Creating for Tenders: Prepared necessary plans, including mobilization, health and safety,
manpower, quality management, and risk management to ensure high standards aligned with
international organizations' requirements.
• Progress Payment: Contributed to subcontractor progress payment control and preparing
progress payment reports for the employer.
• Price Difference Claim: Involved in claim the price difference payment process due to
hyperinflation in Turkey, including breakdown of prices into primary components, getting new
prices, and documenting the process as requested by the client
As a tender engineer, worked with the proposal team to prepare tenders for mostly military
projects, ranging from $1M to $10M, in less than a week.
During my time in Sayram Construction we won 4 tenders from NATO. The tenders were;
• Design and Build and Renovation Services of Facilities of Kabul Military High School,
Afghanistan
• Design and Build Force Protection Elements in Camp Arena, Herat Airfield, Afghanistan
• Design and Build Services Multiple Projects in Powidz Airbase, Poland
• Design and Build Services at JWK Military Base
During this time my duties were:
• International Tender Development: Prepared tenders for NATO, UN, and UNICEF, including
following new tenders, selecting appropriate opportunities, and creating comprehensive to-do
lists.
• Plan Creating for Tenders: Prepared essential plans such as mobilization, health and safety,
manpower, quality management, and risk management to ensure high standards met for
international organizations.
• Customer and Supplier Relationships: Developed relationships with customers and suppliers,
maintaining regular communication and being responsive to their needs and concerns.
• Progress Payment: Subcontractor progress payment control, ensuring that all financial
transactions were processed efficiently and accurately
• Private Tender Preparation: Involved in preparing tenders for Gulf countries, working on
diverse products such as personal protective equipment, street furniture, and bulk equipment
purchase of hotels.
