Leading the QC inspection team for UAE NAVY's major ship building projects called Baynunah & Ghannatha
Liaise with Owner reps, surveyors and vendors for different Project completion activities
Coordinating the team for HAT & SAT trials activities
Conducting Internal Audits for different department (OSHAS 18001 & ISO 9001)
Understanding the requirement of the upcoming project, Knowing its Specification, Standards and Requirements
Testing and Commissioning of Electrical & Instrumentation Systems.
Perform site inspection & supervision, equipment installation checking, calibration, loop checking etc,
Assisting in preparing Inspection test plan and QAP (Quality Assurance Plan) for the project.
Liaise with vendor, owners and surveyors pertaining to commissioning activities/ final signing off on all test memo.
Knowledge of Electrical International Standards IEC, IEEE, DNV, Llyods Register, MODU(Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit.
Apply Health and safety plans.(Strictly follow OHSE rules)
Installation checks for Navigation Aids, Helideck Lighting, Fire & Gas, Hazardous Areas, Normal and emergency lighting.
Knowledge of suppliers and materials
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment, to detect and prevent problems
Coordinate efforts with other workers involved in installing or maintaining equipment or components
Inspect components of industrial equipment for accurate assembly and installation or for defects, such as loose connections or frayed wires
Repair or adjust equipment, machines, or defective components, replacing worn parts, such as gaskets or seals in watertight electrical equipment.
Calibrate testing instruments and installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications
Maintain inventory of spare parts, log overhaul documents for equipment replaced or repaired
Take various meter readings at scheduled intervals
