- Head of the transport sector : managing 10 direct reports and 4 indirect reports

- Representing IDB in MDB Heads of Transport Group and as focal point for OIC institutions active in
the trade and transport sectors (COMCEC, OIC General Secretariat, etc.)

- Full P&L and contract management responsibility for a scope of SAR 1.5 billion+ (14 contractors)
- Successfully handled T&C and takeover of the main infrastructure EPC contract (SAR 813 million)
- Led technical negotiations for the restructuring of the BOT District Cooling contract with Saudi
Tabreed (SAR 700 million +, 25y concession) in coordination with investment teams
- Interim management (4 month) of the main facility management contract
- Developed with Chief Design Officer and negotiated with Makkah High Commission the new
masterplan and development strategy of the Jabal Omar development.
- Largest active mass transit project worldwide with 3 fully electrified metro lines spanning 65km,
29 passenger stations, 2 depots and 69 driverless trainsets. Alstom share circa US$ 1.2 Billion
- Managed three project teams (20+ staff) in KSA, France and Egypt for the power supply, depot
equipment and platform screen doors subsystems from concept design to go order (scope of ~US$300Mn)
- Led decentralization of power supply design function from HQ to Egypt (mobilization of 10 engineers)
- As integration manager in charge of contractual and interface issues for all subsystems, and negotiations
with JV partners and client (support of 80+ staff)

Developed a port-choice model and led consultations with Moroccan Importers and Exporters
(agricultural, freight forwarding, electrical and electronic industries) to devise and advocate Tanger
Med Port competitive strategy for national market. Strategic recommendations adopted by the Board of
Directors. Strategic benchmarking of competition between Tanger Med and Casablanca ports.

- Assisting Task Team leaders and Economists in Management of transport operations in Africa.
- Core team member for the CEMAC Trade and Transport facilitation Project (US$217 Million) in
Cameroon, Chad and Central African Republic (project preparation, appraisal and start-up)
