English Homeroom Teacher for a Foundation class. Plan and deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum in an exciting and creative manner. Assess and report on each child’s learning in line with the Early Learning Goals. Quickly develop effective partnerships with parents in order to create the most supportive learning environment for the child. Work closely with a team of English and foreign teachers and help organize the management and duties of all teaching assistants.
Daily close liaison with the principal in order to support the general running of the school. A rapid increase in my responsibilities meant helping support and train staff for best practice in other school branches in Dubai. As well as training staff, I transitioned into a number of senior roles including parent tour mediator which involves consulting and showing parents around our school and enrolling new children. More recently, I was appointed to our branch Quality Assurance Coordinator. In this role I assist the Head Teacher to ensure that the quality in our branch is maintained to the highest standard in all areas of the school. This includes but is not limited to upholding and reviewing policies and procedures; staff CPD files; staff training; curriculum development, assessment polices, risk assessment and nursery hygiene.
In addition I became the Social Media Branch Manager. This entails developing and managing social media within the school. Therein I am able to effectively use this as a tool to communicate with existing parents regarding their child’s progress as well as advertising the school to prospective parents. Liaising frequently with all staff members in order to facilitate weekly social media school updates.

Strong involvement in aiding the set-up of Oonrak Koh Samui Nursery which started on day 1 with an opening class of just 10 children. This soon became a thriving well established Nursery and we were able to open a Kindergarten & Primary School with nearly 200 children in total. Supervising the grand opening and day to day running of the Nursery. Implementing the EYFS and Jolly Phonics scheme of work throughout the School which involved supporting and training staff, organizing timetables, coordinating the curriculum delivery, child assessments and progress records.
Kindergarten 1 homeroom teacher. Teaching English following the EYFS. Plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons. Implement formative and summative assessment methods. Report and present student progress to parents.
Manager of a team of foreign teachers. Responsible for staff training and recruitment; organizing and managing school timetables and staff roles. Duties also include pastoral care of the nursery and kindergarten and overseeing daily operations; close daily liaison with parents and enrolling new children; curriculum development; policy review; event coordination; resource management and chairing regular team meetings.

St. Barnabus Primary School
Taught and managed a Nursery Class where the majority of children had English as an additional language. Makaton signing was incorporated. Followed the Foundation Stage Curriculum, responsible for short and medium term planning. Implementing and following the Foundation Stage Profile as a way to assess children and plan for their next steps.
Brentry Primary School
Taught the Foundation Stage Curriculum to a Reception class. Worked with children placed on Individual Education Plans. Implementation of various behavior management strategies.
Fulford Centre
Taught Key Stage Four children with severe emotional and behavioural difficulties. Teaching life skills and implementing behavior management strategies were a focal point of the position. Team teaching and production of lesson plans tailored to individual children’s needs.
Fonthill Primary School
Taught a range of subjects to Year One across all areas using the National Curriculum. The National Numeracy and National Literacy Strategy was utilized.
