Financial Controller- (Reporting to Director Finance)
Key Deliverables:
• Planning and Control:
Project Budget reviews that are prepared by Project department and incorporation of financial aspects;
Cash flows forecasting on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis in order to get information of cash deficit or surplus and if deficit then to plan how to finance this and recommending different possible solutions to the management;
Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external auditors;
Maximizes return, and limits risk, on cash by minimizing bank balances;
Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans;
Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions;
Project cost control by performing different analysis on head count basis;
Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
• Analytical Reporting and Supervision:
Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends;
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies;
Provides status of balances of major accounts receivables and accounts payables having a control over the overdue balances and follow up of the same. Planning and preparing supplier payment schedules on ageing basis;
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
Guides financial decision by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures;
Responsible for reporting to Finance and Managing Director regarding financial matters;
Preparation of information and follow up of different financing facilities like Import Finance and LC etc;
Analyzing financial information (e.g Financial statements, Financial ratios, Contribution margin analysis etc) and preparation of special and ad hoc reports;
Liaison with banks, auditors and intercompany departments;
Resolving all the issues regarding finance, Bank guarantees, project status and completion, progress reports etc relating to each project.
